As we reported not long ago, PowerWash Simulator 2, the cunningly-named sequel to PowerWash Simulator, is winging its way to Switch 2, which is a very good thing indeed given how popular the first outing was.

Turtle Beach Unveils New Range Of Officially Licensed Switch 2 Accessories – Controllers, Cases And More

If you’re still on the hunt for certain Switch 2 accessories and are looking for alternatives to Nintendo’s products, there are plenty of third-party offerings. Accessory maker Turtle Beach has already released a headset and it’s now announced it’s bolstering its own line of Switch 2 products.

This includes a new range of wired and wireless controllers, cases, and screen protectors. There’s the Rematch, Afterglow Wave and Afterglow controllers as well as a PlayTrek 2-in-1 Case and cases for the standalone system.

Retro Zelda-Inspired Adventure ‘Mina The Hollower’ Has Been Delayed For Switch 2 And Switch

Thankfully, it’s not a “major” delay.

Yacht Club Games’ new title Mina the Hollower was on track for a 31st October 2025 release, but it seems the plans have now changed.

In an official statement on the company’s website, the “delay extravanganza” continues – with the team behind this new retro Zelda-inspired adventure having to make the “tough decision” to delay the title on Switch, Switch 2, and all other platforms, as “it’s just not quite there yet”. Fortunately, this delay isn’t a major one.

Broken Sword Continues To Reforge With ‘The Smoking Mirror’ On Switch

Revolution Software has unveiled Broken Sword – The Smoking Mirror: Reforged, an enhanced rerelease of the second game in the Broken Sword series. And it’s coming to Switch, alongside other platforms, in early 2026.

Originally teased much earlier this year, The Smoking Mirror appropriately follows on from the excellent 2024 enhanced release of Shadow of the Templars: Reforged and brings with it the same bells and whistles. Though it is getting a 4K release this time — perhaps a free patch for Switch 2 owners, then? We hope so…

Digital Foundry Delivers A Technical Breakdown Of Switch 2’s DLSS

Prepare for some deep learning.

We’ve known that Nvidia’s custom-built Switch 2 chip would bring some DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) magic to the new console for a good while now, though specifics around how the technology is actually working under the hood have been pretty slim. Fortunately, the tech experts at Digital Foundry are here to shed some light on the whole thing.

In a new video (above), DF’s Alex Battaglia gets into the weeds of the Switch 2’s DLSS and explains how it works compared to other models on PC. There’s been no official word from Nintendo or Nvidia on the matter, but this is pretty much as comprehensive a breakdown as you’ll get.

Rumour: Silent Hill 2 May Be Coming To Switch 2 As Its Exclusivity Window Ends

When the Silent Hill 2 remake launched on 8th October 2024, it was made clear that it would only be exclusive to the PS5 and PC for one year.

So now that we’re approaching its first anniversary, the possibility of a Switch 2 release has grown after empty slots for two additional platforms have been discovered on the official website by Rebs Gaming (thanks, Push Square).
