Genre-Bending ‘Baroque YA’ Collection Headed To Switch In Japan

Multiple genres in one easy-to-store package.

Japanese dev outfit Sting has just announced Baroque YA, a collection of four games from the genre-spanning series, will release on Switch (in Japan only, for now) on 18th December.

Originally released for the Sega Saturn all the way back in the Spice Girls-heady days of 1998, the first Baroque is a post-apocalyptic RPG in the roguelike vein that was eventually ported to Wii in 2008.

Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 arrive on the Switch this October, and Nintendo has now released a new seven-minute overview trailer.

It features another look at the gameplay, the additional content you can expect, as well as the new features added to this updated package. The catch is, the trailer has only been released in Japan, but there’s still enough on display to get an idea about what’s going on. When an English version of the trailer is released (or a similar trailer is released), we’ll provide an update.

EA Sports has dropped a huge new update for the recently released Madden NFL 26. The September 17th patch introduces a large number of fixes, adjustments, and other bits and bobs to a game that does a very solid job of bringing the full Madden experience to handheld – so long as you can take the frame rate hit.

Focusing in on highlights here, this patch (which brings the game to version 1.7) brings defensive adjustments in the midfield that should make runners a little easier to catch, whilst a new mechanic that’s been brought over from EA’s College Football franchise allows you to make your own default pass protection system to suit your chosen coach philosophy. Audio and visual effects, some quirky animations and other bugs also see fixes.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Is Getting A Sweet ‘Switch 2 Edition’ Upgrade This November

Zombie hunter Juliet is back.

More Switch titles are slowly beginning to receive Switch 2 game upgrades, and Dragami Games has now announced its own plans for Juliet’s zombie hack-and-slash Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP.

The title will be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition featuring “high frame rate”, “high resolution”, and it will be made available as an upgrade for existing Switch owners. It’s scheduled to arrive at some point in November 2025. It hasn’t been revealed just yet if this will be a free or paid upgrade for existing owners.

Marvelous Europe has announced that Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar has sold over 500,000 copies since its launch on 27th August 2025.

Specific figures across Switch, Switch 2, and PC have not been confirmed, but we’ve reached out and will update this article when we hear more. Nevertheless, it’s a solid performance for the game after such a short period of time, and it seems that most are in agreement that it’s probably one of the best entries in the series for quite some time.
