If you’re a Tetris fan, it’s impossible not to be excited for Digital Eclipse’s third Gold Master Series title, Tetris Forever. And the retro specialists are continuing to sweeten the deal on this fantastic interactive digital museum, which launches on 12th November.

Two more games have been confirmed to be included in Tetris Forever, and they’re both extremely early releases of the classic block puzzle. Both the AcademySoft and the Spectrum HoloByte versions of Tetris, released on the MS-DOS, will be a part of the package.

Switch Accessory Firm CRKD Is Launching A Rather Unsavoury ‘FOMO’ Scheme

Switch accessory manufacturer CRKD has announced that it has launched a new ‘Hot Drops’ scheme for its products, which is essentially a rather unsavoury way of instilling a sense of ‘FOMO’ in its potential customers.

In a nutshell, Hot Drop products are accessories that feature unique designs and exclusive colours and will be revealed on a weekly or bi-weekly basis in highly limited quantities. If customers miss their window of opportunity, CRKD states that the products “may appear later down the line or disappear, locked in the vault forever”.

Random: Stardew Valley Creator Has Finally 100% Completed… Stardew Valley

“The dev gave me a pat on the back”.

When it comes to knowing a game inside and out, the game’s developer is usually top dog. That is, of course, the case for Stardew Valley‘s creator, Eric Barone (aka ConcernedApe), but this is a sandbox so massive that there are bound to be some elements that even the brain behind it all hasn’t ticked off.

That was the case until earlier this week. You see, yesterday, ConcernedApe took to Twitter to reveal that he has finally 100% completed his own game (on Steam, at least).

Bayonetta Character Designer Celebrates Series’ 15th Anniversary With New Art

The first game debuted in Japan in 2009.

PlatinumGames’ icon Bayonetta is currently celebrating her 15th anniversary, and while there have been no major announcements, the development team and creators have taken to social media to acknowledge the Umbra Witch’s time in the spotlight

Platinum shared a brief message on social media featuring a look at her original outing which started out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2009. Of course, it eventually made its way across to the Wii U in 2014 and followed with a Nintendo Switch release in 2018.

Level-5 CEO Reconfirms Switch Game Releases For 2025

Japanese developer Level-5 celebrated its 26th anniversary earlier this week and as part of this, its CEO Akihiro Hino shared a message to fans about the company’s game schedule for next year.

Hino reconfirmed how the plan is to release “three new titles” in 2025. In case you missed the original announcements, this includes Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time and Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

Digital Eclipse has announced that Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind will be launching on the Nintendo Switch on 10th December 2024.

Priced at $34.99, the retro action game is based on the original Power Rangers series from the ’90s and sees the team fight against Rita Repulsa and her minions in a story that both respects and remixes the franchise lore. Gameplay is a spin on the popular brawler genre, but will also add a few neat surprises to mix things up a bit.

Three Adorable New Animal Crossing Plush Have Been Revealed

Arriving in Japan this December.

If you happen to be a fan of Animal Crossing and love plush toys, you might be interested to hear more themed ones are on the way. They’ll be released in Japan at the local retailer San-ei and are scheduled to arrive at some point in mid-December.

Unfortunately, they are limited to Japan for now and there’s no mention of a global release just yet. The new plush options include Sasha, Goldie and Stitches, and each one varies in size. Sasha is 24cm, Goldie is 23cm and Stitches is 19cm.
