Flight delayed until 2025.

Remember how R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos by Granzilla was meant to be coming to the Switch this year? Well, it’s now been delayed (again).

Final Fantasy Creator Considers Square Enix & Nintendo His “Hometown”

“I am truly happy just to be able to send my child out into the world once again”.

Hironobu Sakaguchi needs no introduction. As the father of the Final Fantasy franchise, he’s the mind behind one of the most successful and popular JRPG series of all time. With FANTASIAN Neo Dimension reuniting Sakaguchi-san with Square Enix, he’s spoken about how returning to his former studio — and to Nintendo consoles — feels like coming home.

In an interview with Famitsu (shared via My Nintendo News and Genki), Sakaguchi and Creative Studio III and Final Fantasy XIV and XVI producer Naoki Yoshida (known as Yoshi-P) sat down to discuss the upcoming expanded rerelease of the Apple Arcade title. And in the chat, Sakaguchi got a little reminiscent about his time with Square and developing games for Nintendo consoles.

Random: Fans Are Begging Nintendo’s Ex President To Sell His N64 Collection

Reggie Fils-His Pockets.

When ex-President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aimé, showed off a portion of his N64 collection on social media, we suspect he probably wasn’t anticipating a wave of offers from potential buyers.

Alas, that’s exactly what happened. Reggie has remained fairly active on social media since his departure from Nintendo in 2019 (!!), and attracts quite a bit of attention whenever he posts something Nintendo-related. At the end of August, he posted an image of a box containing a selection of N64 cartridges with the caption “Found part of my ⁦Nintendo 64 collection! Reorganizing it all! wonder what hidden gems I have here!” This was swiftly followed by an amusing offer from user ‘Omni’ @InfernoOmni, who said “I’ll buy the whole tub for $7”.

Random: Game Dev Builds Baffling Contraptions To Solve Zelda: TOTK Addison Puzzles

“H-he’s standing!”.

It’s no secret that we love Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘s Addison here at Nintendo Life (at least, I do), so when we heard that Affordable Space Adventures dev Nifflas was solving the NPC’s sign-standing puzzles in creative ways, we had to take a look. Reader, we were not disappointed (thanks for the tip, d-slice).

Now, when most of us solve an Addison puzzle in TOTK, it’s a simple case of slapping a nearby boulder underneath the President Hudson sign or, at most, building a rudimentary frame for it. Not for Nifflas, it seems.

Round Up: The Previews Are In For The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom

It’s sounding very promising!

Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is fast approaching and we’ve now got the first batch of preview impressions doing the rounds. This includes a “hands on” courtesy of our lovely senior video producer Alex Olney:

“We left wanting more. Wishing we could stay on and progress further than we were allowed, wishing we could take a copy home and start playing around with everything. We even wanted to replay a lot of what we’d already done because we knew there were other ways we could have done things, and because the game doesn’t really care how you solve something as long as you solve it.”
