Zelda: Majora’s Mask Artist May Lend His Talents To A New SNES Remake

Provided the Kickstarter goal is reached.

Takaya Imamura, renowned artist behind the likes of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, F-Zero, and Star Fox may soon be lending his talents to Nightmare Busters Rebirth, an upcoming remake of the SNES run ‘n’ gun 2013 title, Nightmare Busters (thanks, Time Extension).

His involvement hinges upon a stretch goal within the ongoing Kickstarter campaign. Currently sitting at a total of €131,745 with 15 days remaining, the campaign will need to secure €150,000 to bring Imamura onboard. The good news is that the game itself is fully funded, with an initial goal set at €60,000.

Rumour: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Character Leaks Reportedly Surface

Sega has hyped up Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as having the “largest” roster ever in a Sonic Racing game. It’s set to include characters from across the Sega Universe, but it seems there could be even more surprises on the way…

Ahead of the Summer Games Fest, a new leak has reportedly emerged and it’s revealed a possible cameo racer. According to footage circulating online, the new Sonic Racing entry will feature…spoiler alert…a playable version of SpongeBob SquarePants. Yep, the Nickelodeon character who lives in a pineapple under the sea.

Video: Do You Even Need A Pro Controller For The Switch 2?

When Nintendo properly revealed the Switch 2 back in April, it also confirmed that a new Pro Controller would be accompanying the console as an optional peripheral.

Now, most of us here have gone hands-on with the new controller at some point or another, but the lovely Alex has spent quite a bit of time with the ruddy thing playing the likes of Mario Kart World and Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. Preview: Mario Kart World’s True Genius Is Its Movement, Not Its World

Moo-ve it on out, girl.

It’s not much of a claim to fame to say you’ve played Mario Kart World at this point. After countless public preview events, the number of people lucky enough to have had a pop must at least be in the tens of thousands. But I’m special. I’m special because I got to play it for about four or five hours solid.

I had a fair old shake at most of the game modes on offer, and suffice it to say I had a lovely time with the game. Among the various experiences, the newest of them was finally getting a go at free roam, and the missions that exist within the world.

We last heard from Hollow Knight: Silksong in the April Switch 2 Direct, where Team Cherry’s hotly anticipated metroidvania made a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance, accompanied by a ‘2025’ release window. In the weeks since, the game returned to its dormant state, but a new update to its Steam page has once again stoked the fires of speculation. With showcase season right around the corner, is it finally time?

The SteamDB update was brought to our attention on BlueSky by @Wario64, who claimed that one of the game’s packages was receiving its first update in 15 months.

Video: Street Fighter 6 Showcases Four New Character Outfits

The new DLC drops this week.

Capcom is this week releasing the Switch 2 version of Street Fighter 6 and alongside this it will be releasing the DLC fighter Elena.

As part of this, certain characters will also be getting brand-new outfits. These outfits are for M. Bison, Terry, Mai and Elena. They’ll once again be arriving on 5th June, alongside the Switch 2 release and DLC update.

Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Version 4.0.0 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

The Switch 2 upgrade has arrived.

The preparations for Switch 2 continue with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet both being updated today to Version 4.0.0.
