Rain World, known for its lush visuals and brutal difficulty, is getting another major expansion soon to accompany last year’s Downpour DLC.
Dubbed ‘The Watcher’, it’s only been confirmed for Steam at the time of writing, but we feel reasonably confident that it will also make its way to Nintendo’s console at some point down the road.

Here’s your reminder the ‘Beta Test Demo’ of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is now available for Switch. The first of four chapters is “coming soon”.
Bandai Namco has announced brand new DLC is on the way to the Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
It’s officially titled “Future Saga” and will be delivered in four chapters, with Chapter 1 “coming soon”. Here’s a tiny bit of PR along with the video above which reveals Vegeta (Super Saiyan God) and Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rosé) will join the roster in their Ultra Supervillain form.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk! Pentiment! Bioshock!
After the announcement of the European eShop’s ‘Blockbuster Sale’, we had a sneaky suspicion that North America would be treated to one of its own before long. Sure enough, the ‘Partner Spotlight Sale’ has kicked off on the US eShop today, bringing up to 80% off a selection of tasty third-party titles.
The sale began on 28th March and will run until 8th April so you have a good bit of time to decide what to spend your bucks on.

Those who are easily scared might want to look away for a moment because the cult-classic Japanese horror series, Corpse Party, is once again getting creepy on Switch as Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion brings the chills this Autumn (or ‘Fall,’ if you’d rather).
Published by Marvelous Europe (XSEED in North America) and developed by MAGES, Darkness Distortion looks set to contain all of your standard scares. There’s a creepy old hospital, a spooky legend and a decades-old curse to deal with as you try your best to help three high school friends survive the night.

“It feels like the start of a new era”.
It has been a whopping three years since we first heard about Earthblade, the 2D “explor-action” game from Celeste developer Extremely OK Games. This pretty pixel art platformer was given a 2024 release window back in late 2022, but now, it seems, things are going to be pushed back a little as the developers have announced a delay.
The news came in the form of a blog post from Extremely OK Games’ R&D Director, Maddy Thorson, in which she thanked fans for their continued support of the project, but confirmed that “this game ain’t coming out in 2024”.

Countdown to zero.
After a last minute delay on Switch, publisher Ziggurat is now ready to unleash Slave Zero X into the world and we can exclusively reveal that it is scheduled for launch on 11th April, 2024.
Better late than never, of course, and we’re hopeful that the delay means the game can look and perform as best as it possibly can on Nintendo’s console. To give a flavour of what to expect, Ziggurat has shared several Switch-specific screenshots, and we have to say that it’s looking pretty tasty indeed.

The official shutdown is almost here.
In case you missed it, Nintendo is shutting down online play and other functionality for the 3DS and Wii U early next month.
As we get closer to this deadline, Nintendo’s Japanese social media accounts have been issuing regular PSA. The latest one was posted earlier this week, once again reminding everyone online play for both of these devices will end on 9th April 2024 (that’s 8th April in the US).
