Publisher astragon Entertainment has laid the groundwork and is ready to start putting the foundations in for Construction Simulator 4, which will be heading to Switch on 28th May.
This will be the first time that the series has popped up on Switch, though we’re sure that you can imagine what it might entail, all the same. Would you believe us if we said that there was construction? Well, you better, because there’s a lot of it.

With the games industry rife with layoffs and studio closures in recent months, it’s nice to come across something that actually celebrates our wonderful medium. Over in New Zealand, NZ Post has tipped its cap to the country’s burgeoning game developers with a selection of stamps and collectibles.
The games in question here are Dredge, Into the Dead, Mini Metro, Depth, and Bloons TD 6. All were developed at studios in New Zealand and are now featured on official stamps, cards, collectibles pins, and more. How cool!

We’re teeing off another edition of Box Art Brawl!
Before we do so, however, let’s take a look at what happened on the last hole. It was a par three as we matched up a trio of covers for Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. Unfortunately, some strong winds seemed to blow things firmly in the favour of North America, whose bright cover took 75% of the vote, leaving the Japanese and South Korean variants to putt 14% and 10% respectively.

During Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase last November, publisher Thunderful and indie developer Wishfully announced they would be bringing the cinematic puzzle adventure Planet of Lana to the Nintendo Switch this Spring.
In an update this week, it’s now been confirmed the title will be released for Switch and PlayStation on 16th April 2024.

MAR10 Day might be over, but hear us out– Nintendo said that every day is MAR10 day with Nintendo Switch. So we’re going to take that statement to heart and talk about our favourite Mario games. Yep, not the best, not the worst, but our personal favourites. And no, they don’t have to be on Switch.
Everyone has a different favourite. For some, it’s their first foray into the colourful, eclectic world of Super Mario. For others, the leap into 3D may have been too much to resist. Mario has had a pretty varied life since 1985’s Super Mario Bros. (and technically even before that), and with the 40th anniversary looming next year, we’re always ready to celebrate Nintendo’s mascot.

If you were hoping to pick up a local physical copy of the upcoming release Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on the Switch, you might have to wait a little longer.
In an official update from 505 Games, it was revealed the hard copy for Switch has been delayed in the “Americas & EMEA”, with all backers to receive a digital copy on release to ensure they can still start their adventure on time. The new date for the physical release is now 21st May 2024. Here’s the statement in full:
