Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on Switch has been rated 12+ by PEGI (Pan European Game Information), just like every other entry in the series.

What folks have seemingly noticed, however, is that the new release comes with an added ‘sex’ warning as part of the overall rating; something that wasn’t present on the original Wii U version. Part of Bloober Team’s new horror label.

Developer Rock Square Thunder (The Lightbringer) has revealed I Hate This Place, an upcoming open-world survival horror published by Broken Mirror Games, the brand-new horror label from Bloober Team.

Birthed via a partnership with Skybound Entertainment, I Hate This Place will be based on the Eisner award-nominated comic book created by writer Kyle Starks and artist Artyom Topilin. It sees you take on the role of Elena, who “unwittingly awakens a malevolent force” and must work to survive in an increasingly deadly world.

Arriving next week.

Nintendo’s rollout of retro games for the Switch Online service will continue next week with the addition of four Super Nintendo titles.

These games (made up of strategy, turn-based and RPG action) will be arriving on 28th March 2025 and include Nobunaga’s Ambition, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness, Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire and Uncharted Waters: New Horizons.

A Mimic miracle.

If you’re anything like us, you probably spent a fair amount of time soaking up the 3D vibes of Pokémon Stadium in the early 2000s. This was the franchise’s first foray into the third dimension and, at the time, it was mind-blowing. Charizard? With depth? Is this the future? But no matter how long we played, some features remained hidden to us. That is, until today.

Early 2025 contender for longest game title.

Famitsu has published the latest boxed charts for Japan, and as expected, Monster Hunter Wilds retains its position at the top of the pile.

In fact, the only newcomer this week is Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Myth – Fullland of Water and Light, a game that is almost certainly an early contender for the longest title of 2025. Still, it looks pretty fun if you want to check out some gameplay videos over on YouTube.
