As the reviews for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds go live this week, physical copies of the game (which aren’t available to the general public until next week) have now reportedly “leaked” upcoming Season Pass and DLC collaborations.

If you don’t want any spoilers, you might want to navigate away from this page now. Right, with the warning out of the way, according to a photo of the physical version doing the rounds, Capcom’s Mega Man series will be featured in the Season Pass as the last “paid DLC” collab slot.

Pokémon‘s fifth generation kicked off 15 years ago today with the release of Pokémon Black & White in Japan.

On 18th September 2010, the world first stepped foot into Unova, a brand new Pokémon region based on North America, specifically New York City’s metropolitan area, with a mix of landmarks inspired by the area and other part of the whole country.

I rarely expect big Pokémon news during Nintendo Directs. Maybe an NSO drop (pffft), perhaps some details on the already-announced game coming out. I certainly did not anticipate my dream of becoming a Ditto who can transform into a human being to come true during the latest showcase.

Okay, that’s obviously not what I’ve spent my many years growing up with Pokémon thinking about, but it is the spark that sets in motion my actual, long-desired Pokémon spin-off, Pokémon Pokopia: a life sim.

While Minecraft sells over 4 million on Switch.

Famitsu has provided the latest look at the boxed charts in Japan, and it’s another resounding success for Mario Kart World, with the Switch 2 launch title selling another 38,026 copies.

Borderlands 4 made its debut, with the PS5 version coming in at number 2 after selling 13,029 copies. A decent start, to be sure, but Mario Kart World’s commanding lead is going to take some beating.

Multiple genres in one easy-to-store package.

Japanese dev outfit Sting has just announced Baroque YA, a collection of four games from the genre-spanning series, will release on Switch (in Japan only, for now) on 18th December.

Originally released for the Sega Saturn all the way back in the Spice Girls-heady days of 1998, the first Baroque is a post-apocalyptic RPG in the roguelike vein that was eventually ported to Wii in 2008.

The Touryst was a delightful little game from developer Shin’en Multimedia, and the company has now revealed that its official re-release, The Touryst: Deluxe, will launch on the Switch 2 next week on 25th September 2025.

Pre-orders are available now at 19.99€ / $19.99, though current owners who purchased The Touryst from the Switch eShop can bag the re-release at a heavily discounted price of 4.99€ / $4.99.

Going beyond the Mushroom Kingdom.

Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 arrive on the Switch this October, and Nintendo has now released a new seven-minute overview trailer.

It features another look at the gameplay, the additional content you can expect, as well as the new features added to this updated package. The catch is, the trailer has only been released in Japan, but there’s still enough on display to get an idea about what’s going on. When an English version of the trailer is released (or a similar trailer is released), we’ll provide an update.

Zelda and Link are back once more.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is the next game in the Zelda series, and it’s coming to Switch 2 on 6th November.

Blending the hack-and-slash style of Koei Tecmo’s Warriors series with the world of Hyrule, Link and Zelda will be opening cans of whoopass once more in this sequel to Age of Calamity which gives a look behind the calamitous story explored in Tears of the Kingdom.
