Score Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (PS5) for Just $15 This Black Friday

There are plenty of gaming deals to check out for Black Friday. For PlayStation 5 owners, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has dropped to just $15 today at Amazon. This is a whole 70% off its list price of $49.99, marking a drop to its lowest price ever according to price tracker camelcamelcamel.

If this deal sells out, a good backup option is over at Best Buy where you can score the game for $19.99. This is a few dollars more than the one at Amazon, but still a great option to keep in mind if the $15 deal disappears.

We had high praise for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown upon release. Writer Phil Hornshaw said in our review of the game that “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown captures not only what made games such as The Sands of Time so good, but it irons out a lot of the little issues that plagued the 3D games in this series by opting for a 2D perspective – and owning it. It also works extremely well as a traditional Metroidvania, sticking with tried-and-true elements of the genre but executing on them with precision.”

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has also earned a couple of nominations from The Game Awards this year for Best Action/Adventure Game and Innovation in Accessibility. We also consider it one of the best video games of 2024.

Stalker 2’s First Big Patch Has Dropped, and It Makes Over 650 Fixes

GSC Game World has released Stalker 2’s first big post-launch patch across PC and Xbox, making over 650 fixes.

Stalker 2 enjoyed an impressive launch with over one million copies sold, but it suffers from a number of game-breaking bugs. Check out IGN’s Stalker 2 review for more.

Now GSC has released patch 1.0.1, hopefully Stalker 2 players are in for a smoother ride. The update includes fixes for quest blockers, memory leaks, crashes, and minor bugs, GSC said. There are a number of blanace changes, too, which overall make the game easier. Check out the patch notes below.

“Thanks for your passion and support since the release, it is really important to us,” the developer added.

GSC said future updates will make A-Life system bugfixes. Free in-game content is also coming to the game – expect more on that when GSC shares its roadmap later in December.

To help you survive in the Zone, we’ve got a list of Essential Stalker 2 Tips and Tricks, plus a guide on Things to Do First in Stalker 2 to help you through the early game, and Things Stalker 2 Doesn’t Tell You – everything we wish we knew before we started playing. Save time scouring the wasteland with our Artifacts checklist and locations guide, and every Stash location we’ve found so far.

Stalker 2 suffered a number of understandable delays, most recently in July when the game was due out in September. GSC said at the time that the extra two months would give the developers the chance to fix “unexpected anomalies,” aka bugs.

GSC has also been vocal about the challenges the studio faced getting Stalker 2 up to scratch after a mixed reaction to its debut public showing last year. At gamescom 2023, GSC addressed what some had called a “downgrade” sparked by Stalker 2’s then latest gameplay trailer. At the time, GSC told IGN it was still targeting a visual quality and level of polish suggested by Stalker 2’s eye-catching 2021 trailer despite the horrendous conditions suffered by the staff amid the war with Russia.

Sony May Find It Hard to Buy All of FromSoftware Parent Company Kadokawa, Financial Report Claims

As Sony’s pursuit of Kadokawa rumbles on, financial experts have said the PlayStation maker may find it hard to buy the entirety of FromSoftware’s parent company.

Japan’s Toyo Keizai (via Automaton) reported that Sony may be put off the deal due to the cost of having to acquire all of Kadokawa, rather than the parts it’s actually interested in.

Kadokawa is reportedly only interested in doing a deal with Sony if it buys the entire company. Sony, however, is reportedly only interested in “extracting” assets related to anime and video games, which presumably includes the developer of Elden Ring.

Buying all of Kadokawa would cost 640 billion yen (approx $4.3 billion), according to expert estimates. Sony’s cash for buyouts is apparently tight at the moment due to investments made elsewhere. As a point of comparison, Sony bought Destiny developer Bungie for $3.7 billion back in 2022. The studio has since suffered multiple rounds of layoffs and project cancelations.

There’s also the apparent prospect of a bidding war that would cause Kadokawa’s sale price to soar beyond Sony’s limit. The alternative is for Sony to buy 50% of Kadokawa and turn it into a subsidiary it doesn’t wholly own.

Kadokawa’s business extends into areas that fit into Sony’s broader entertainment offering, which includes anime, manga, TV, and film. Kadokawa is a prolific publisher of anime, and Sony already owns anime streamers Crunchyroll and Funimation. As well as FromSoftware, Kadokawa owns Danganronpa developer Spike Chunsoft, Octopath Traveler developer Acquire, and RPG Maker and Pixel Game Maker developer Gotcha Gotcha Games. Kadokawa is the majority owner of FromSoftware, with around 70% of the company. Sony already owns around 14% of the developer, with Tencent owning around 16%.

Piers Harding-Rolls, Research Director at Ampere Analysis, told IGN that news of a potential deal isn’t that surprising. “Sony’s interest in Kadokawa’s games publisher FromSoftware was made more concrete in 2022 when it acquired a roughly 14% share of the company following up on its long-time collaboration with the company,” Harding-Rolls said.

“At the time, Sony mentioned a broader interest in cross-media development of anime and games IP to support its other media businesses. So, in that sense any deal for the parent company Kadokawa, which also operates extensively in manga and anime, is a natural extension of this earlier deal. These other areas align nicely with Sony’s anime businesses.

“The market conditions for acquisitions have changed dramatically over the last two years but Sony will always be looking for opportunities that can fuel its growth and that bolster its IP portfolio, and that represent value. There may also be a defensive element to this move. FromSoftware is an important partner for Sony’s games business, and it will not want a competitor taking control of Kadokawa and potentially disrupting that relationship. It helps that Kadokawa is also active in areas which are a strong fit with Sony’s wider business.”

For Sony, its gaming business has already suffered significant layoffs this year and the closure of multiple studios, including Concord developer Firewalk. In February, it announced a round of layoffs affecting 900 staff, or about 8% of its global PlayStation workforce. The layoffs impacted a number of PlayStation studios, including Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Guerrilla, and Firesprite, but PlayStation’s London studio was hit hardest with a notice of closure.

Nintendo Black Friday 2024 Sale: These Switch Deals Are The Best I’ve Ever Seen

Black Friday is finally here, and with it a whole slew of new unbeatable Nintendo Switch discounts. There are some of the best deals I’ve ever seen for Switch consoles, games, accessories, and more. Most importantly, the best-ever Switch deal is live, with up to $155 off the Switch Black Friday bundles.

If you’ve been after a Switch, this is the deal for Black Friday, and it’s pretty incredible. There’s also Tears of the Kingdom for just $30 at Walmart from today as well, while it’s still in stock! Check out the rest of our top picks below and stay tuned for details on more upcoming offers.

TL;DR – Best Switch Black Friday Deals

Back In Stock: Switch Black Friday Console Deals

Nintendo has rolled out a standout Black Friday deal for 2024, offering the Switch OLED bundle at $275 and the standard Switch bundle at $225. Both bundles include a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription, marking them one of the best Black Friday deals available in 2024.

Even with the anticipated Switch 2 expected next year, this deal is likely to be extremely popular. Together, the bundles represent a $155 saving compared to buying each item separately. The inclusion of a full year of NSO membership is also a notable upgrade from past bundles, which typically featured just three months of Nintendo Switch Online.

Switch Black Friday Game Deals

The final phase of Nintendo’s Black Friday sale is now live, and these are the best deals, which aren’t getting any better! To be fair, they are mostly excellent as it is.

The sale features feature discounts on popular Switch titles, including Sonic X Generations for $29.99, Super Mario Odyssey for $29.99, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for $44.99, and Balatro for $19.99.

Switch MicroSD Card Black Friday Deals

The Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED offer 32GB and 64GB of internal storage, respectively, with some of that reserved for the operating system.

To put this into perspective, Tears of the Kingdom takes up 16GB, while Breath of the Wild requires about 13.5GB. Downloading both games digitally would nearly fill the original Switch’s storage, making a high-capacity memory card less of a luxury and more of a necessity.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Con and Controller Deals

Black Friday is a perfect time to pick up any Nintendo Switch controllers you could use, because they pretty much all go on sale for the lowest prices of the year. That goes for both Joy-Con controllers and standard Pro-style controllers.

Thankfully, Black Friday sales make storage upgrades much more affordable. A 1TB microSD card is now available for $57.99, while a 512GB card can be picked up for just $32.99, offering ample space for games, DLC, and updates. Portable gaming needs are also covered, with one of the best power banks on the market dropping to its lowest price ever at $77.99. Additionally, Switch Pro controllers are now just $49.99, making this Black Friday an excellent time to grab essential accessories at significant discounts.

Free In-Store Upcoming Switch Events

Nintendo is also organizing in-person demo events at Target, Best Buy, and GameStop, giving players a chance to try upcoming games and participate in giveaways.

  • Dec. 7: Best Buy Family Fun Day will offer hands-on demos for games like Mario & Luigi: Brothership, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Just Dance 2025.
  • Dec. 14: GameStop will host demos for the same lineup.

What About Switch 2? The Current State of the Nintendo Switch

Nintendo also shared more about sales of the current Switch and its software, including that it was cutting the sales projection of its current hardware for the financial year ending March 2025 from 13.5 million units to 12.5 million units.

Nintendo had a 17% revenue drop and a 69% profit drop versus the same quarter from its last financial year, and it sold 4.72 million Switch units in the six months ending September 30. That latter figure is down from the 6.84 million units sold during the same period last year.

On the software side from April to September 2024, Nintendo said The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom sales have reached 2.58 million, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s have jumped up 2.31 million, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door’s have climbed to 1.94 million, and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD’s have scared to 1.57 million.

Nintendo has confirmed that the yet-to-be-announced Switch 2 will be backward-compatible with original Switch games and will feature Nintendo Switch Online.

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa shared the news during the company’s Corporate Management Policy Briefing, revealing a bit more about the successor to 2017’s Nintendo Switch.

“This is Furukawa,” Nintendo wrote on X/Twitter. “At today’s Corporate Management Policy Briefing, we announced that Nintendo Switch software will also be playable on the successor to Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch Online will be available on the successor to Nintendo Switch as well. Further information about the successor to Nintendo Switch, including its compatibility with Nintendo Switch, will be announced at a later date.”

We have a ton left to learn about this new Switch as we are still waiting for its actual announcement, which Nintendo has previously said will happen by the end of March 2025.

The Perfect PS5 SSD is On Sale for Black Friday 2024

Amazon has dropped the 2TB WD Black SN850X PS5 SSD with Heatsink down to just $133.99 for Black Friday today, and tremendous deal this year and one of the best SSD deals we’ve had since Prime Day.

WD Black SN850X is one of the best-performing PCIe 4.0 SSDs on the market; this is not only the best SSD for your PlayStation 5 console, but it can also be a blazing-fast boot drive for your gaming rig. Whichever you’re buying it for, you won’t find it cheaper before the end of the sales this weekend.

The SN850X is the latest in WD’s high-performance Black series M.2 SSDs, offering top-tier specs for those on PlayStation or PC. With read speeds up to 7,300MBps, write speeds of 6,600MBps, and up to 1,200K IOPS for random reads, it’s significantly faster than its predecessor, the SN850.

For PS5, this doesn’t matter too much, and you should focus on the decent price, and the fact is can be slotted into your console with ease. Other Black Friday SSD deals include:

The SN850X is also an excellent choice for PlayStation 5, matching Sony’s official SSD specs and even exceeding their recommendations. It has the required M.2 2280 form factor, PCIe Gen4x4 interface, and more than enough speed for seamless performance. Plus, the SSD is backed by a five-year warranty.

For gaming PCs, on the other hand, WD includes Game Mode 2.0 software to optimize performance during intense sessions. A 2TB model strikes the best balance of capacity and cost for most users, providing ample space for your OS and games.

The Best Black Friday Deals Start Now: Lowest Prices on PS5, Switch, Apple, LEGO, and More

The Black Friday sales have officially commenced. I’ve worked through numerous Black Fridays over the years, and my experience has always been the same: Black Friday actually starts on Thanksgiving Day. However, now that the first day is nearly over, I have a feeling that we are just getting started and the best deals haven’t been released just yet. I expect better and more deals to come on Friday, and I expect some of the best previously expired deals (like the Nintendo Switch bundles and iPads) to return .

In terms of deal quality, Black Friday 2024 is shaping up to be a golden year. I’ve already seen better-than-expected discounts on gaming consoles like the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Meta Quest 3S, and Steam Deck, a great selection of Apple iPads, AirPods, and Apple Watches, including new 2024 models, rarely discounted video games (including top-shelf Switch games priced well under $40), powerful gaming PCs and laptops, and much, much more. Whether you’re hunting down a specific deal, or casually perusing the top 100 Black Friday deals so far, I’ve got you covered.

TL;DR – Best Black Friday Deals

Update: The Switch is going in and out of stock at Target (before it was just out of stock).

Compared to the PS5 and Xbox Series X, the Nintendo Switch console has the best discount for Black Friday. The early holiday bundles, which were released back in October, included your choice of the Switch or Switch OLED, a digital download voucher for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a 12-month Switch Online membership. I thought that this was going to be the official Black Friday deal. Alas, Target (but not Amazon, due to its supposedly shaky relationship with Nintendo) has just knocked another $75 off the price tag. That means you can pick up a Switch bundle for as low as $225. I have both models and, if I were to buy a third, it would be the Switch OLED. The screen is that much better.

More Nintendo Switch Black Friday Deals

For Black Friday, there are literally hundreds of LEGOs on sale. What I am interested in myself, however, are the big LEGO sets for adults. We’ve seen vendors sneak us some great deals on individual LEGO sets, but they seem to expire quickly. Some examples include Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets like the Razor Crest, or Landspeeder, the Marvel Spider-Man’s Daily Bugle, or the LEGO Art Amazing Spider-Man, or incredibly intricate builds like the Technic Liebherr Crawler. Keep in mind that these deals end lightning quick and are one-and-done. If you see a set you like or is a perfect gift for a loved one, don’t hesitate on purchasing it ASAP. Otherwise you might have to wait until next Black Friday.

More LEGO Black Friday Deals

For the moment, Walmart is the only retailer offering Tears of the Kingdom for $30. IGN gave it a 10/10 “Masterpiece” rating and I would have to agree. Tom Marks wrote that “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an unfathomable follow-up, expanding a world that already felt full beyond expectation and raising the bar ever higher into the clouds.” I wouldn’t wait too long to get this deal; Walmart is already sold out of physical copies.

For Black Friday, there are literally hundreds of LEGOs on sale. What I am interested in myself, however, are the big LEGO sets for adults. We’ve seen vendors sneak us some great deals on individual LEGO sets, but they seem to expire quickly. Some examples include Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets like the AT-AT, Razor Crest, or Landspeeder, the Atari 2600 Video Game Console, the DC Batman Tumbler, and the Marvel Spider-Man’s Daily Bugle. I’m hoping these deals return on Friday, but keep in mind that a lot of these deals are one-and-done. If you see a set you like or is a perfect gift for a loved one, don’t hesitate on purchasing it ASAP. Otherwise you might have to wait until next Black Friday to get another shot at the deal.

Black Friday is like a bonus holiday for Pokémon TCG fans. We’re talking about deck building, chasing rare cards, or just stockpiling boosters for a rainy day. This year’s Black Friday deals are stacked with good finds. Update: This is the last Pokemeon TCG item left in stock but I’ll re-add any Pokemon TCG sets that come back for Black Fridyay.

Sony released its entire set of Black Friday PlayStation deals last week and most major retailers have followed suit. The best deal is definitely on the consoles themselves and not the accessories: The PS5 Slim Disc Edition has dropped to $424.99 (originally $500) and the PS5 Slim Digital Edition has dropped to $374.99 (originally $450). I would choose the Disc Edition because it’s only $50 more and then I have the option to buy (and later sell or trade) physical disc media. But if you want to save some money and go the Digital Edition route, I would suggest getting the NBA 2K25 bundle (see below), which also includes a game. Although the Fortnite Cobalt Star bundle has a fancy-looking box, no actual game is included.

More PlayStation Black Friday Deals

Star Wars: Outlaws was released only three months ago and it’s already 33% off for Black Friday. Maybe Ubisoft is trying to boost sales after a lackluster launch, but that means you get to enjoy a AAA title at a great discount. IGN’s Tristan Ogilvie gave it a 7/10 review, which is still good, but I’ve beaten the game and immensely enjoyed it, so I would have given it an 8. It definitely has an “Assassin’s Creed game in a Star Wars skin” vibe, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

The best TV for PlayStation 5

I’ve been waiting for another good OLED TV deal to pop up for Black Friday ever since the previous one expired, and Walmart has finally delivered. Right now you can pick up a current 2024 model 65″ LG Evo C4 4K OLED Smart TV for only $1,199.85. To get this price you will need to follow two simple steps:

  1. You’ll need to sign into your Walmart account to see this deal (signing up free)
  2. Add the 65″ LG Evo C4 4K OLED TV to your cart
  3. Clip the $63.15 coupon in your shopping cart to bring it down to $1,199.85

The LG Evo C4 OLED TV has won top spots in several of our buying guides, including best 4K TV, best TV for gaming, and best TV for the PlayStation 5. This is an especially good choice if you picked up the new PS5 Pro, since the updated hardware will be able to run more games at a consistent 4K @ 120fps.

The Best Black Friday Streaming Deal

This Black Friday, Hulu is available for just $0.99/month for an entire year – down from $9.99/month, and at 90% off that’s hard to beat. Similarly, the Disney+ bundle is being offered at $2.99/month for a year, down from $10.99/month, making these some of the best Black Friday streaming deals available. Don’t miss out.

Hulu stands out as one of the top streaming platforms today, yet it’s often underrated. With critically acclaimed movies like Anatomy of a Fall and Talk to Me, and standout, Emmy-winning TV series such as Shogun, Abbott Elementary, The Bear, and Only Murders in the Building, there’s always something exceptional to watch.

The Best Black Friday VR Headset Deal

At $299.99, the Meta Quest 3S was inarguably the best value out there in the world of VR gaming, but the deal’s even better. Both Amazon and Target are including freebies: Amazon shoppers get a bonus $75 in Amazon digital credit, and Target shoppers get a bonus $75 Target gift card. The Quest 3S also includes the Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game.

What really sets this deal above all other VR deals (like the PlayStation VR2) is that the Meta Quest 3S can be played completely untethered. That means you can play games like Beat Saber or Pistol Whip without having to own a powerful gaming PC or a PlayStation 5 console. Try to find another standalone VR headset at this price and you’ll come up empty.

The best Black Friday AirPods deal has arrived and it’s better than I predicted. Amazon, Target, and Walmart have all dropped the price of the second-generation Apple AirPods Pro wireless noise-cancelling earbuds to $153.99. This discount brings the price down to the same level as the Apple AirPods 4 with noise cancellation. Between the two, the AirPods Pro is still Apple’s best earbuds because it offers better sound quality and better noise cancellation performance.

There are a lot of amazing iPad deals today, like the new iPad Mini for $399.99 or the iPad Pro M4 for $850, but this is the best deal for most people. The standard iPad is the model I’d recommend; it offers snappy performance and the intuitive iOS interface at a low price. Tenth gen improvements over its predecessor include a larger 10.9″ screen and a faster A14 Bionic chip, Magic Folio keyboard support so you can convert it into a mini laptop (making it one of the best iPads for students), a USB Type-C port, better camera, and updated Wi-Fi 6 protocol.

For anyone on a budget, this is the Apple Watch to get. The second generation Apple Watch SE starts at just $149 only at Amazon and Walmart. This is the best price we’ve ever seen for a brand-new Apple Watch with a warranty. Despite the affordable price tag, you actually don’t lose out on much functionality if you opt for an Apple Watch SE. It’s powered by the same S8 processor found in the Apple Watch Series 8 and the first-generation Apple Watch Ultra. It also features a bright and sharp OLED Retina display, IPX7 water resistance, fall detection, sleep tracking, Apple Pay, and nearly all the fitness tracking functionality including heart rate monitoring.

These JLabs JBuds Lux are an incredible value. First of all, they feature both wireless connectivity and noise cancellation for under $30. Better yet, unlike virtually all other headphones at this price point, they’re actually very good! SoundGuys recently reviewed the JLabs JBuds Lux and gave it an absolutely glowing review, mentioning that they were one of the best headphones under $100. SoundGuys considered them an extremely good value at their retail price of $79. Imagine their opinion at the current $29 price point.

Up to 50% Off These Smart Glasses

There’s a very intriguing – if a bit controversial – deal going on that you might want to check out for yourself. Both Amazon and Target are offering a 20% discount off the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses, with prices starting at $239.20. That’s the same deal you’ll find at other retailers, however Amazon and Target are throwing in additional freebies: either $90 in Amazon digital credit or a $90 Target gift card. The Meta Wayfarer glasses are an influencer’s dream, and that’s exactly what they’re designed for: social media. They’re surprisingly slim and lightweight for glasses equipped with an integrated 12MP video camera and speaker. You can use them to take quick snapshots or up to 60 second videos that you can then upload to your social media of choice. You can even livestream 30 second videos in 720p.

Includes One-Time $20 Audible Credit

From now until December 31, non-current Audible subscribers are eligible for three months of Audible Premium Plus for $0.99 per month and a bonus one-time $20 Audible credit. Premium Plus is Audible’s best plan and three months would normally cost you about $44.95. You also get a free audiobook of your choice each month that you get to keep indefinitely.

Audible is a subscription service that gives you access to hundreds of thousands of the best audiobooks without ever having to purchase them. Premium Plus is Audible’s highest tier plan and it gives you access to a whopping 500,000 audiobooks. These include all-time classics like Frank Herbert’s Dune, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire), The Witcher, The Sandman Series, and The Lord of the Rings.

Where Are the Xbox Deals?

Xbox gamers might be wondering why I haven’t listed Xbox consoles. Unfortunately, Microsoft seems to have taken a step back and decided not to host any outstanding console deals for Black Friday. All of the consoles are marked down by $50, but these deals aren’t exceptional. If you’re already an Xbox owner, however, and are looking for discounts on peripherals, there are two great deals to consider. The WD Black C50 Storage Expansion Card is down to $99.99 from $150. Also, Xbox wireless controllers are down to as low as $39.99. Even better, the limited edition Ghost Cipher and Sky Cipher controllers are both on sale for just $45 each.

One of the best gaming PC deals to come out of the Alienware Black Friday Sale is this Alienware Aurora R16 configuration for $1,499.99. It’s the least expensive desktop computer equipped with an RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU. The rest of the specs are up to snuff as well, like an Intel Core i7-14700 CPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU is good enough to run even the newest games at up to 4K resolution (in fact, it’s the least expensive GPU that I’d recommend for high-framerate 4K gaming), although I’d say that 1440p is its sweet spot.

The Walmart Black Friday Sale brings with it this excellent gaming laptop deal. Walmart is offering a Lenovo LOQ RTX 4070 gaming laptop for only $879.99. Yes, you read that right. The LOQ is Lenovo’s lineup of budget-oriented gaming laptops. This system features a 15″ 1080p display, a low-voltage AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS CPU, GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The RTX 4070 GPU is a fully powered (115W TGP) model, not a throttled one like on some other budget laptops. Despite its low cost, this laptop will perform almost as well as the best RTX 4070 gaming laptops. You should be able to play any game comfortably on the 1080p display.

Best Buy is the only retailer to drop the price on the new Asus ROG Ally X so far for Black Friday. Right now you can get it for $699.99 after a $100 instant discount. In our Asus ROG Ally X review, gaming guru Jacqueline Thomas wrote that “the Asus ROG Ally X is simply the best handheld gaming PC on the market right now. With more and faster memory and double the battery as the original Ally, the Ally X will run any modern game without dying in an hour and a half.”

You can pick up a copy of Azul for only $20 for Black Friday. Many board games are about mystery or war, but Azul is totally different. Players in Azul compete to design the most beautiful tiled mosaics they can. In our Azul review, Matt Thrower writes, “Between its beautiful presentation, simplicity and depth there’s little doubt that Azul has earned its place as a modern classic. While the tinkering with its formula undertaken by its sequels has created more challenging games, none has captured the fine blend of accessibility and interactivity that makes it special.”

The Coolest Toy for Gamers

One deal you might have missed is this really awesome MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set. It’s normally $150 but there’s a 50% discount for Black Friday that drops it to only $74.99. The MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set is a buildable 3:4 scale replica of the Xbox 360 console with a brick count total of 1,342 pieces (5.5 cents per brick). The details in this build are, frankly, incredible, and include interactive elements, lighting effects, and the coolest accessories. This is such an interesting product that I wrote up a dedicated Black Friday article just for this deal.

After years of ownership, I still love my Instant Pot pressure cooker.

Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy are all one-stop shopping sites, so it makes sense that their Black Friday sales extend beyond gaming and tech. Here are the best deals I’ve seen so far on small kitchen appliances, personal care products like hair dryers and toothbrushes, vacuum cleaners, and other convenient necessities that everyone – gamers included – might find useful. On a personal note, although air fryers are all the rage these days, I bought my Instant Pot pressure cooker over 10 years ago and I still use it weekly. My air fryer sits in the cabinet.

If you prefer to shop by retailer, we’ve written up Black Friday Deals roundups for each of the major retailers: Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and Gamestop. Check them out below:

This Microsoft Xbox 360 Building Kit From Target Is One of the Coolest Toys for Black Friday

Target has officially kicked off its Target Black Friday Sale, and one deal you might have missed is this really awesome MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set. It’s normally $150 but there’s a 50% discount for Black Friday that drops it to only $74.99. MEGA is similar to LEGO, but the brand (which is owned by Mattel) creates sets for IPs that don’t have a relationship with the other famous big block company. Some past and present examples include Pokemon, Star Trek, Halo, and, in this case, Microsoft Xbox. This would make an incredible gift idea for any gaming fan who loves working on complex building block kits like LEGO.

MEGA Showcase Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set

The MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set is a buildable 3:4 scale replica of the Xbox 360 console with a brick count total of 1,342 pieces (5.5 cents per brick). The details in this build are, frankly, incredible, and include interactive elements, lighting effects, and the coolest accessories. Here’s a rundown of the biggest highlights:

  • The Xbox console exterior is well represented with details like a removable hard drive, ventilation holes in the rear, text in the right places, and lighting effects. Unfortunately, there’s no option to swap in a red ring of death.
  • The Xbox console internals are just as faithfully reproduced as the exterior. There’s a tray to pop in the supplied Xbox game disc (we’ll get to this later), the motherboard, various heatsinks and doodads all connected by wires, and even a fancy little Cortana chip. It’s also easy to get into the console (just press a little green button).
  • The set includes an authentic looking mini Halo 3 game disc complete with a detailed Halo game box that looks just like the real thing. That’s not even the best part. You can place the Halo disc into the console’s internal disc tray and it will light up the Cortana chip inside. How cool is that!?!
  • The Xbox controller has a removable battery pack. When you slide in the battery pack, the controller’s guide button lights up. That’s because the light brick is installed in the battery itself.

So why the big price drop? According to the user reviews, the fit and finish of the bricks is not as good as LEGO sets, so the build process won’t go as smoothly (you might even need to whip out the Kragle). But once you’re done, I’m sure you’ll appreciate the incredible amount of authentic features that the designers put into this set.

LEGO Sets Are Also on Sale for Black Friday

If you want to keep your building block collection strictly LEGO, check out our guide to all of the best LEGO Black Friday deals available right now. There are plenty of big discounts on sets for all ages from multiple retailers, including LEGO Shop, Amazon, Best Buy, and of course, Target.

The Target Black Friday Sale Is Live: The Best Deals on Nintendo Switch (Back in Stock), Apple, and LEGOs

The Target Black Friday Sale has officially commenced! Target is one of the most popular retailers for Black Friday, and one thing I’ve learned over the years of finding deals is that it knows how to put on a good sale. This year, Target has come out the gate swinging with outstanding Black Friday deals on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 consoles, the Meta Quest 3S VR headset, and the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer smart glasses. It’s also a great one-stop shop for holiday gift ideas like a new Apple iPad or a pair of AirPods, Pokemon TCG sets, LEGOs, toys, and more.

Target is one of my favorite shopping sites, both in-store and online. Its prices are very competitive, its return policy is generous, and it has plenty of retail locations so that buying online and picking up in-store is a convenient option. Target offers great exclusive discounts via its Target Circle membership, and best of all, joining is free. There is a paid upgrade that’s worth it for regular Target shoppers similar to Amazon Prime or Walmart+, and it’s on sale for Black Friday as well.

Update: The Switch is going in and out of stock at Target (before it was just out of stock).

Compared to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the Nintendo Switch console has the best discount for Black Friday. The holiday bundles, which were released back in October, included your choice of the Switch or Switch OLED, a digital download voucher for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a 12-month Switch Online membership. I thought that this was going to be the official Black Friday deal. Alas, Target (but not Amazon, due to their supposedly shaky relationship) has just knocked another $75 off the price tag. That means you can pick up a Switch bundle for as low as $225.

Super Mario Odyssey deserves to be a staple game in everyone’s Switch library. It’s one of the few Mario games that is a completely Switch original instead of a remake. Despite the fact that it was launched way back in 2017, it’s still one of the best Switch games even today. In his 10/10 “Masterpiece” review, Ryan Mccaffrey wrote that “Super Mario Odyssey is a brilliant adventure and love letter to the series that made Nintendo a household name.”

LEGOs are one of the best gift ideas for the holidays, so LEGO deals get snapped up pretty quickly during Black Friday. Target is advertising select sets for up to 40% off. We’ve added all of the ones that are shown in the ad scan that have been discounted, but expect to see even more sets on sale in the coming days. The best deal right now – a LEGO City Space Science Lab for only $19.99 (originally $35) – would make a great gift for kids. At an average cost of a mere 3.5 cents per brick, this deal is a phenomenal value.

Sony released their entire set of Black Friday PlayStation deals last week and most major retailers have followed suit. The best deal is definitely on the consoles themselves: the PS5 Slim Disc Edition has dropped to $424.99 (originally $500) and the PS5 Slim Digital Edition has dropped to $374.99 (originally $450). I would choose the Disc Edition because it’s only $50 more and then I have the option to buy (and later sell or trade) physical disc media. Target doesn’t carry the “Fortnite Cobalt Star” bundle but all that includes is a couple of Fortnite skins and in-game currency. If you want to save some money and go the Digital Edition route, I would suggest getting the NBA 2K25 bundle, which also includes a game.

More PlayStation Black Friday Deals

Star Wars: Outlaws was released only 3 months ago, and it’s already 33% off for Black Friday. Maybe Ubisoft is trying to boost sales after lackluster sales at launch, but that means you get to enjoy a AAA title at a great discount. IGN’s Tristan Ogilvie gave it a 7/10 review, but I’ve beaten the game and I immensely enjoyed it and would give it at least an 8. It definitely has a “Assassin’s Creed game in a Star Wars skin” vibe, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

One of the best Apple Black Friday deals has arrived and it’s better than I predicted. Target has dropped the price of the second-generation Apple AirPods Pro wireless noise-canceling earbuds to $153.99. This discount brings the price down to the same level as the Apple AirPods 4 with noise cancellation. Between the two, the AirPods Pro is still Apple’s best earbuds because it offers better sound quality and better noise cancellation performance.

Wait, there’s more! Check out the best Black Friday iPad deals across all retailers.

At $299.99, the Meta Quest 3S was inarguably the best value out there in the world of VR gaming, but apparently that’s not good enough to be considered a Black Friday deal. So, Target has decided to include a nice bonus: Target shoppers get a bonus $75 Target gift card. The Quest 3S also comes bundled with the Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game.

Available in several different sizes and lenses options

There’s a very intriguing – if a bit controversial – deal going on that you might want to check out for yourself. Amazon is offering a 20% discount off the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses, with prices starting at $239.20. That’s the same deal you’ll find at other retailers, however Target is throwing in a $90 Target gift card. You can even livestream 30 second videos.

The least expensive 75″ TV

This is easily the best TV deal in Target’s ad scan, which is why it’s on their front page. Target will drop the price on this Westinghouse TV from $499.99 to $399.99, making it one of the least expensive 75″ TVs we’ll see for Black Friday. Aside from the absolutely gigantic screen size, a native 4K resolution, and 60Hz refresh rate, this TV also features the Roku smart interface. I personally prefer Roku over Fire TV or Google TV because it’s more intuitive to use.

The least expensive 65″ TV

Need an inexpensive TV that gets the job done? Look no further than this Hisense A6 Xumo TV. This is currently the least expensive 65″ TV deal for Black Friday and has a good chance of staying that way. At this price you’re getting a pretty barebones TV, but it has all the important essentials, like a generous 65″ TV screen size with a native 4K resolution panel, built-in speakers, and an integrated Xumo TV smart interface. If you would rather use a smart interface that’s more familliar to you, you can pick up a Fire TV Stick 4K for $21.99 or a Roku Ultra LT for $34.

The least expensive gaming PC handheld

Target has dropped the price of the Asus ROG Ally Z1 gaming handheld PC to only $349.99 after a $150 discount. This is currently the least expensive cost of entry to the world of gaming handheld PCs. The ROG Ally runs off Windows 11. The benefit compared to the Steam Deck, which runs off SteamOS, is that the ROG Ally is compatible with pretty much any Windows-based game client, including Steam, Battle.net, Xbox Games Pass, Epic Games Store, GOG, Ubisoft Connect, and more. That makes it more attractive to gamers who like to play games that aren’t available on Steam.

Target Circle 360 exclusive

Target Circle 360 exclusive

Who doesn’t love a good ol’ freebie for Black Friday? Target is offering a free pair of fuzzy wuzzy Target Adult Bullseye Slippers for Target Circle 360 members. These slippers normally cost $15, so if you sign up for the membership at the promotional price of $50, you’re already a third of the way towards getting your money’s worth!

Everyone’s eligible for this deal

You don’t need to be a Target Circle 360 member to get this freebie. Target is offering a single pack of the Air Wick Scented Oil Air Freshener, with warmer included, for free after you clip the $4 off Target Circle coupon. Supposedly it lasts for 60 days, and you can easily top it off with Air Wick refills. I much prefer this over scented candles because it doesn’t leave soot residue everywhere.

Most items are eligible

Starting now, Target Circle members will be able to buy two books, movies, or music and get a third free. Some examples include the kids’ favorites Percy Jackson or Dog Man book series, the recently released Inside Out 2 on Blu-ray or 4K Ultra HD, or vinyl from superstars like Sabrina Carpenter or Taylor Swift. I’m personally hoping to fill out my Lord of the Rings library collection for this round of Black Friday.

Who says Thanksgiving get-togethers have to be expensive?

Target is offering enough food to provide for a Thanksgiving meal for four for under $20. The list includes a 10lb turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy, cream of mushroom soup, and green beans. This deal is already live.

Similar to Amazon Prime or Walmart+

Like Amazon and Walmart, Target has its own paid membership that offers great perks in addition to the great deals you are entitled to as a Target Circle member. The Target Circle 360 membership normally costs $100 per year, but the price drops to $50 for Black Friday. Exclusive perks include free two-day shipping with no minimum, free same-day delivery on orders over $35, delivery to other addresses, and an additional 30 days added to your return window.

30% Off Apple iPad Air

Update: This deal has been removed from the site. We expect it to return on Black Friday.

Target has the 5th generation iPad Air 10.9″ M1 tablet for only $359.99 after you clip a Target Circle coupon. That makes it $240 cheaper than the current gen 2024 model and one of the best Black Friday iPad deals I’ve seen. This is still a very relevant tablet in 2024; the Apple M1 chip is more powerful than the A14 Bionic chip in the newest iPad and the A17 Pro in the newest iPad Mini. It features a 10.9″ 2360×1640 Retina display with True Tone and P3 wide color and USB-C.

$320 Off Apple Watch Ultra

Update: This deal has been removed from the site. We expect it to return on Black Friday.

Target is offering a brand new Apple Watch Ultra (1st gen) for only $479.99 after you clip the $320 off Target Circle coupon. This is Apple’s best watch, with a titanium case that’s more rugged and corrosion resistant than the softer aluminum casing found in most Apple Watches. Pure titanium (not titanium “coated”) metal is considerably more expensive and is one of the main reasons why the Apple Watch Ultra commands a high price tag. The size of the case is also larger at 49mm (compared to 41mm-45mm for the Series 8). Other upgrades over the Series 8 include a brighter display protected by a scratch resistant sapphire crystal face, a precise dual-frequency GPS, beam-forming triple microphone array, dual speakers, up to 36 hours of battery life, up to 100m (300ft) of water resistance, a customizable physical action button next to the crown, and a built-in Oceanic+ app that literally puts a dive computer on your wrist.

Active Murder Mystery 2 Codes (November 2024)

Currently, there are no active Murder Mystery 2 codes in November 2024. As soon as that changes, we’ll update this page, so check back soon for updates.

Why Isn’t My Murder Mystery 2 Code Working?

If your Murder Mystery 2 code isn’t working, it’s likely due to one of two scenarios. The first is that the code was inputted incorrectly. You can even copy and paste the codes directly from this article over to Roblox if you want to make sure you’re inputting them correctly.

What is Murder Mystery 2 in Roblox?

Murder Mystery 2 is an asymmetric horror game where you play as one of three roles: an innocent, a murderer or a sheriff. From there, the match plays out similarly to social deduction games like Among Us. The murderer stalks the map, killing unsuspecting innocents, who try to flee to survive. Meanwhile, the sheriff tries to deduce who the killer is so they can shoot them to save the innocents.

Each round ends when the murderer kills all the innocents or is taken down by the sheriff, so you’ll need to be suspicious of everyone, watch your back and be cautious to survive.

What is Bee Swarm Simulator in Roblox?

Bee Swarm Simulator is a bee farming game, where you collect resources by hatching your own hive of colourful bees, making honey, defeating enemies and completing quests. The more you play, the more expansive your hive becomes, allowing you to tackle trickier enemies and continue your quest to become the ultimate beekeeper.
