Poll: So, Have You Used Zelda Notes Yet?

Nintendo’s new mobile service for Hyrule.

Alongside the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom on the Switch 2, Nintendo added a special service to its mobile app called Zelda Notes – giving players multiple features to enhance their time in Hyrule.

This service includes navigation assistance, voice memories, autobuild sharing, item sharing, and much more. In our review here on Nintendo Life, we couldn’t help but feel a lot of these useful features should have been implemented in-game, but it’s now got us wondering how everyone else is finding this optional extra a few weeks later.

Review: Savage Raven EDC Switch 2 Carry Case – A Sleek Alternative To Nintendo’s Official Offering

The accessory maker formerly known as Skull & Co.

We’ve already had a look at Nintendo’s official Switch 2 carry case and scored it a super solid 8/10, commenting that it had too few cart spaces (at just six), but was nevertheless a compact and good-looking case for the money.

Now it’s the turn of Skull & Co., or ‘Savage Raven’ as the company has now rebranded, with the Switch 2 EDC Carry Case. I’ll be honest, it makes me feel a little bit like I should really be dressing up as The Crow when I’m out and about with my console rocking a name like that on its little protective jacket, but hey, this is actually a very strong alternative to Nintendo’s rather less street-wise offering. It also has two more cart spaces than that case. Upgrade unlocked!

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Has Sold 10 Million Copies Since Launch

Whoa!

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has sold a whopping 10 million copies since its launch back in 2019, Activision has announced.

The game, which serves as a complete remake of the 1999 PS1 original, was developed by Beenox, a studio that has since been gobbled up by the Call of Duty conveyor belt. That said, Nitro-Fueled was well-received upon launch for its faithfulness to the original, but also got quite a bit of heat for its micro-transactions.

Nintendo Supposedly Investigating Possible “Swollen Battery” Issue With Switch 2

Users have noticed the system’s back panel “slightly bulging”.

Some would argue the real tests can only begin when a product is in the hands of consumers and while Nintendo likely ran every scenario it possibly could with the Switch 2 during in-house tests, certain issues are reportedly surfacing now that it’s out in the wild.

Talking Point: How Are You Finding Mario Kart’s Open World?

Free to roam.

Many of us have just wrapped up our second weekend with Mario Kart World, and by this point you’ve probably seen most of the Grand Prix mode and had your rear end handed to you various times in Knockout Tour (I swear, there’s no middle ground with that one – I either do really well or go out in the first two laps!), and are starting to explore Free Roam mode a little more.

‘Open-world Mario Kart’ sounded like a tasty drive-thru feast and while all of us here at Nintendo Life are love with the world itself and the way the tracks are seamlessly integrated across the regions, we’re up and down like a suspension bridge on whether the open-world experience is as fun as it could be.
