Although it was originally expected to be a digital-only release on Switch, Limited Run Games has stepped in to distribute the physical versions. If you do want this version of the game, you will have to wait until early next year.

Croc: The Legend Of Gobbos Remaster Brings Beloved PS1 Platformer To Switch

Argonaut Games returns.

We’re living in the age of surprising platforming mascots making a return, and Croc — one of the lost icons of the PlayStation era — is the next returning star from that era. Yep, Croc: The Legend of Gobbos is getting a remaster, and it’s been confirmed for all platforms, including Switch.

What’s more, the original developer, Argonaut Games — yes, that Argonaut, the one that worked on Star Fox and the Super FX chip — is the studio behind the remaster.

Dave The Diver’s Latest Crossover Update Arrives Today, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Balatro, Potion Craft and mxmtoon all dive in.

Dave The Diver has landed indie collaborations all over the place since it launched on Switch last year and today’s ‘Dave and Friends’ update (originally announced back in August) is no exception.

This one brings MINTROCKET’s diving/sushi sim up to ver. 1.0.3.924 and, obviously, the collaborations are the big-ticket addition here. Singer-songwriter mxmtoon drops into Bancho Sushi for a spot of diving, dining and open mic-ing, the mysterious ‘Jimbo’s Game’ cards let you play Balatro in Dave the Diver (just when we thought we were out…), and you can even get into a bit of bar-side alchemy with the Potion Craft crew.

Christmas Comes Early To The Pokémon Center With A New Range Of Festive Merch

All I want for Christmas is Mew.

We feel a little queasy thinking about Christmas with Halloween still around the corner, but that hasn’t stopped The Pokémon Company from dropping its new festive range of merch to get us all in the mood.

The all-new Holiday 2024 collection is now available via The Pokémon Center website, with tree ornaments, festive jumpers and table decorations all getting a Pocket Monster spin. You’ll have to head over to the online store to see the range in full (as you might expect, it’s rather large), but we’ll do our best to highlight some of our favourites here so you have an idea of what to expect.

Nintendo’s Switch Online Playtest Is Already Being Streamed, Unsurprisingly

It told players to “not discuss or disclose content”.

Just weeks ago, Nintendo announced it would be hosting a new Switch Online Playtest Program. As part of this, it told participants to “not discuss or disclose” anything about it, and pretty much straight away, information about what to expect was leaked online.

Now, in an update, the playtest has gone live and users are already uploading screenshots, video footage and even streaming the game. According to a participant via social media, Nintendo hasn’t bothered to disable screenshots or recordings for the playtest, so footage of this build can be archived.

Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Tops Switch ‘Best-Sellers’ In Opening Month (US)

And placed fourth in the “top 20”.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom got off to a strong start in the UK and Japan, and now the charts are in for the US.

As highlighted by Circana analyst Mat Piscatella, Echoes of Wisdom was unsurprisingly the best-selling Nintendo game of September in the US. Other new games for this period included Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection in fourth, EA Sports FC 25 in fifth place, Epic Mickey Rebrushed in sixth, and Capcom’s Ace Attorney Investigations Collection in ninth spot.
