Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is the gift that keeps on giving, with Maximum Entertainment and developer Secret Base today adding two more playable characters to the beat ’em up as a free DLC update.

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Appears To Now Have A Proper Physical Switch Release

No “download required” banner in sight.

Since the arrival of Game-Key Cards on the Switch 2, there has been ongoing discussion about the future of third-party physical releases. Even during the Switch generation, certain hard copy releases didn’t always live up to expectations, opting to include a download code instead of the actual game.

Nintendo Partners With Interstate Scholastic Esports Alliance For Competitive Events

Nintendo of America and Interstate Scholastic Esports Alliance (ISEA) have announced a partnership “to make gaming competitions more social, accessible, and rewarding”.

Starting later this year, school-organized tournaments and events for grades 4 through 12 will be able to utilise Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 3, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for competitive play on the Switch and Switch – OLED Model, with the partnership potentially reaching “80,000 elementary, middle, and high school students across 23 states”.

Random: Oh Jeez, Now Palworld Has Its Own Rip-Off On The Switch eShop

Developer Pocketpair is still very much in the midst of a lawsuit from Nintendo over its smash-hit title Palworld, but it may have another issue on its hands.

As covered by The Gamer, a new title by the name of Palland is now available via the Switch eShop, and everything from its basic description to its screenshots indicate that it’s a blatant rip-off of Palworld. Does that also make it a rip-off of Pokémon..? Well, Nintendo would probably say so, yes. We’re not so sure about Pocketpair.
