Blasting off today.
It has been a little over a month since the ‘Omega’ update landed in No Man’s Sky and Hello Games clearly hasn’t paused for breath as it today unveiled the next new patch.
The ‘Orbital’ update will be blasting off today and while it might not be quite as expedition-focused as some of those that we have seen in the past, it does introduce a couple of new features that are sure to go down well with the ship fans out there.

Update :
Following an update for the PC version of Penny’s Big Breakaway earlier this month, the same one (with some extras) has now arrived on the Nintendo Switch. It adds “new performance and quality mode options” on Nintendo’s system.

Standard version and collection announced.
The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, which was released on the Nintendo Switch eShop a few years ago, will be getting a physical release on the hybrid system next month.

Spot the difference.
With Princess Peach: Showtime! now available on the Switch, Nintendo is beginning to turn its focus to the return of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Ahead of its release in May, it’s been sharing pre-order details and other information.
Now, to add to this, it’s released a two-minute story trailer and although there’s no gameplay footage, it seems to have got fans quite excited. Did it give you the ol’ razzle dazzle?
Last week, The Mushroom Kingdom’s beloved ruler made her solo Switch debut with Princess Peach: Showtime!, an impressive performance in an approachable production that gracefully leaps between genres and finally delivers a star vehicle for a woman that has spent too long out of the spotlight.
Our royal reviewer PJ O’Reilly came away most impressed by the princess’ performance, awarding it an 8/10 in his review and saying that, despite some technical snags, it has “creativity, style, and fun to spare,” with “Nintendo finally everyone’s favourite imaginary princess the rollicking adventure she deserves.”

‘New Year Better Me’ update arrives today.
When My Time at Sandrock sprouted onto Switch in November 2023, it’s safe to say that it wasn’t in the best condition. Aside from playing things a little too safe, the farm sim was awash with dull graphics and performance issues, making it far from the cream of the crop.
Fortunately, in the time since launch, developer Pathea Games has released a handful of updates to get things running a little smoother. Today, another one has arrived, with the ‘New Year Better Me’ free update bringing Sandrock up to ver. 1.2.2 in style.

In case you missed it, Xbox is now releasing some of its games on other platforms. The next one coming to the Nintendo Switch is the survival and crafting multiplayer title Grounded on 16th April 2024.
Alongside the eShop release, Limited Run Games has announced it’s releasing a physical “Fully Yoked Edition” of the game for $39.99, with pre-orders now open until 28th April 2024. Sonic Heroes on Switch’s successor is the latest claim.
Sonic the Hedgehog’s 3D platformer Sonic Heroes could reportedly be making a comeback in the future.
This latest rumour follows on from the blue blur’s recently leaked mobile game ‘Sonic Toys Party‘. This information stems from a report by Universo Nintendo, with the site claiming a remake could be in development for the Switch successor.
