Fast & Furious: Arcade Port Cruises Onto Switch This October

Arcade racing fans have another game to look forward to this year, with GameMill Entertainment announcing it will be bringing Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition to the Switch and multiple other platforms on 24th October, 2025.

If you’re getting Cruis’n Blast vibes from this one, that’s because developer Raw Thrills was behind the original 2022 arcade cabinet release. Cradle Games (which helped out with the port of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants) is assisting with this latest home console release.

Annapurna Is Bringing This Cute Co-op LEGO Game To Switch In September

September is built for LEGO games it seems.

Annapurna Interactive has announced that LEGO Voyagers — the two-player co-op adventure from Light Box Studios, the developer of LEGO Builder’s Journey — is coming to Switch on 15th September 2025 (thanks, IGN).

Originally announced at Summer Game Fest Opening Night Live, Voyagers joins the LEGO Party as the second Lego game to launch in September (technically first as it launches before the Mario Party-like).

R-Type Delta: HD Boosted Gets A Western Launch Date On Switch

Hint: it’s the same as Japan!

Clear River Games has announced that R-Type Delta: HD Boosted will launch on Switch in the West on 20th November 2025. That’s the same date as Japan!

Developed by City Connection Co. Ltd, the game will receive a physical edition in addition to the usual digital release on Switch, a whopping 27 years after its original release on the PlayStation in 1998.

The Legend Of Zelda Movie’s Official Social Media Account Goes Live

We’re slowly learning more about the upcoming live-action Legend of Zelda movie, and following the reveal of the first cast members in July, it appears an official social media account has now been opened on the platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

It’s tagged as @The_Zelda_Movie and in the bio mentions how the film is coming “exclusively to theatres in 2027”. This follows the previous confirmation that the film would arrive on 7th May 2027.

Since the arrival of Game-Key Cards on the Switch 2, there has been ongoing discussion about the future of third-party physical releases. Even during the Switch generation, certain hard copy releases didn’t always live up to expectations, opting to include a download code instead of the actual game.

Nintendo Partners With Interstate Scholastic Esports Alliance For Competitive Events

Nintendo of America and Interstate Scholastic Esports Alliance (ISEA) have announced a partnership “to make gaming competitions more social, accessible, and rewarding”.

Starting later this year, school-organized tournaments and events for grades 4 through 12 will be able to utilise Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 3, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for competitive play on the Switch and Switch – OLED Model, with the partnership potentially reaching “80,000 elementary, middle, and high school students across 23 states”.
