Drag X Drive Switch 2 eShop Price Revealed

And it’s cheaper than most.

Earlier today, Nintendo dropped a surprise on everyone by revealing Drag x Drive‘s release date on the Nintendo Today! app. And now, a few hours later, pre-orders are open — and that means the price has been revealed, too.

You can snap up the digital-only wheelchair basketball game for just $19.99 USD / GBP £16.99, which is a pretty bargain price all things considered. Many didn’t expect the game to retail at a high price given its premise, but it’s good to have confirmation.

Review: Nintendo Switch Online GameCube Controller – The Return Of The King

A little birdy wants to wave hello.

The N64 controller has its fair share of fans, but I am not one of them.

I should clarify that I don’t dislike it, as such, but as someone who owned a PS1 back in the ‘90s and only had limited access to the N64 through my friends, the three-pronged design definitely felt, well… weird by comparison. I’ve come to appreciate it much more since owning a wireless N64 pad for the Switch, but I still wouldn’t rank it as one of my favourites.

Exclusive: Fast Fusion’s First Major Update Arrives This Week With Three New Tracks

Plus a new ‘PURE’ performance mode.

Shin’en Multimedia has been hard at work on the first major update for Fast Fusion on the Switch 2, and we can now exclusively reveal that it will launch this week on 26th June 2025.

But what do you get with it? Well, Shin’en has confirmed to us that the ‘Pure Update’ – which is completely free, by the way – will contain three new tracks based on classics from Fast RMX. Sega Knows You Hate Mario Kart’s Blue Shells

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds removes “unfair” and “stressful” items.

A cornerstone of the Mario Kart experience is, for better or worse, the dreaded Blue Shell.

Seen as a means of keeping the playing field (relatively) level, this item targets the player in first place, and has been the cause of much frustration over the decades—to the point where some people argue it’s actually a disadvantage to be in first position for much of each Mario Kart race.

Checked out.

Many libraries offer services where you can experience and even borrow video games. Unfortunately, a 45-year-old Oakland man named Jamal Reed-Obafumi has been arrested after being accused of stealing “approximately $10,000 worth” of Nintendo Switch video games from Marin County Libraries, located in Northern California.

Marin County’s Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Reed-Obafumi last week after he was “connected to a string of at least seven different burglaries of Marin County Libraries”. This took place between April and June 2025 across multiple branches.

Poll: Have You Won Knockout Tour Online In Mario Kart World Yet?

Go on, tell us.

Apart from the new free roam mode in Mario Kart World, Nintendo’s latest kart racing outing also brings a new racing mode known as ‘Knockout Tour’. In case you’re not familiar with it, it’s basically Mario Kart’s take on the battle royale genre, where it’s the last kart standing as racers are eliminated after each section of the course.

It’s now almost been one month since the new entry hit the track and it’s got us wondering how much success our community has had so far in this new mode. Have you won a race yet? Have you been on the cusp of greatness but denied by a blue shell at the last minute? Vote in our poll and let us know in the comments below.

Nintendo Prioritising Switch 2 Dev Kits For Indies Needing “Extra Oomph”, Say Devs

“a similar situation to the OG Switch”.

As we all know by now, the Switch 2 has been off to a rocket of a start in terms of its hardware sales, however, with regards to its current games lineup — and with a particular eye on its indie offerings — there’s certainly been quite a bit of heavy-lifting done by Mario Kart World in these early days and weeks.

If you’d been expecting a few more Switch 2 indie offerings at this point, though, you aren’t alone, and there’s at least a reason for the relatively slow-going in these early days. Speaking with GamesIndustry.Biz, a bunch of indie devs have been explaining the pre-launch dev kit access situation, with some getting their hands on the necessary tech ages ago, whilst others are still waiting.
