A star is born.

Hollow Knight: Silksong, much like its predecessor, is known for featuring quirky voice roles to represent the numerous NPCs you’ll encounter along your journey.

One these roles features a developer with which you might be quite familiar: Eric Barone, A.K.A. ConcernedApe, A.K.A the creator of a little game called Stardew Valley. As spotted by The Verge, Barone’s name can be seen in Silksong’s credits under the ‘Additional Character Voices’ section.

“I Can’t Afford To Give It Away For Free” – Silksong’s Low Price Is Causing Devs To Re-Evaluate Their Own Games

Managing expectations.

After an exceptionally long wait, Hollow Knight: Silksong is out now on the Switch and Switch 2, and perhaps one of the most pleasantly surprising aspects of its launch is its price.

You’re looking at $19.99 / £16.75 / €19.99 / ¥2300 for the new release which, given the sheer length of its development and presumptions around its runtime, seems very reasonable indeed. Some folks, however, think that Team Cherry has legitimately priced the game too low, and therefore may be distorting players’ expectations regarding what a $20 game should look like (thanks, Eurogamer).

Ubisoft Employee Explains Why Star Wars Outlaws Is A Game-Key Card

And it’s seemingly got nothing to do with cost.

Star Wars Outlaws, released on 4th September 2025, is the latest in a long line of Switch 2 titles utilising the Game-Key Card physical release.

Review: Star Wars Outlaws (Switch 2) – An Underrated Adventure, A Super-Solid Port

Your lack of faith is disturbing.

I find myself in a bit of an unusual position with Star Wars Outlaws on Switch 2 in that, having already played through the entire thing and reviewed it for our sister site Pure Xbox in 2024, I feel like I’m getting a quick second chance to see if my 8/10 score was justified. Spoiler alert: it was absolutely justified. So that’s that bit sorted.

I was a little surprised when the reviews dropped for Massive Entertainment’s take on the Star Wars universe because, for my money, they’ve actually outdone Respawn in a few critical ways. As much as I love the Jedi series, it does feel like a great big Star Wars rollercoaster that throws all the stuff you expect to see at you as you careen through at high speed. It’s like climbing and fighting on a big film set. And that’s fine.
