Are you ready, Sonic fans?
Sega has hyped up Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as having the “largest” roster ever in a Sonic Racing game. It’s set to include characters from across the Sega Universe, but it seems there could be even more surprises on the way…
Ahead of the Summer Games Fest, a new leak has reportedly emerged and it’s revealed a possible cameo racer. Pros and cons.
When Nintendo properly revealed the Switch 2 back in April, it also confirmed that a new Pro Controller would be accompanying the console as an optional peripheral.
Now, most of us here have gone hands-on with the new controller at some point or another, but the lovely Alex has spent quite a bit of time with the ruddy thing playing the likes of Mario Kart World and Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. In his latest video, he has a good ol’ natter with Felix about whether or not the new Pro Controller is actually a necessity.

Moo-ve it on out, girl.
It’s not much of a claim to fame to say you’ve played Mario Kart World at this point. After countless public preview events, the number of people lucky enough to have had a pop must at least be in the tens of thousands. But I’m special. I’m special because I got to play it for about four or five hours solid.
I had a fair old shake at most of the game modes on offer, and suffice it to say I had a lovely time with the game. Among the various experiences, the newest of them was finally getting a go at free roam, and the missions that exist within the world.

It is showcase season…
We last heard from Hollow Knight: Silksong in the April Switch 2 Direct, where Team Cherry’s hotly anticipated metroidvania made a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance, accompanied by a ‘2025’ release window. In the weeks since, the game returned to its dormant state, but a new update to its Steam page has once again stoked the fires of speculation. With showcase season right around the corner, is it finally time?
The SteamDB update was brought to our attention on BlueSky by @Wario64, who claimed that one of the game’s packages was receiving its first update in 15 months.

“We had a different vision for what this game should be”.
Who had the return of Survival Kids on their bingo cards for 2025? Let alone as a launch title for a brand new Nintendo console?
Amidst a storm of third-party ports and first-party giants, Survival Kids quietly sneaked into the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct back in April 2025. And when we saw the Konami logo, something clicked — oh, it’s that Survival Kids.

Shocker.
OpenAI’s o3 model, which is reportedly the “smartest model to date” of AI, can play Pokémon Red — but it’s taken 80 hours to get two Gym Badges. Two. And it’s rightfully being roasted online.
The story was originally published by Dexerto, and the playthrough is being streamed on Twitch right now, but we’re a little bit amused that this “powerful” AI tool can only get past the first two Gyms in 80 hours.

Real steamy.
Steam-Heart’s is a most curious Saturn Tribute release, for two significant reasons: Firstly, it was conceived many moons ago as hardcore hentai erotica; and secondly, it was never particularly great.
It first appeared in all its grammatically incorrect glory on the NEC PC-98 home computer in 1994. Compared to the console market, there were almost no content restrictions for PC software, giving rise to a vast catalogue of pornographic titles. Most were sold on the promise of a few titillating stills wedged between rough coding, while a few notable exceptions, like the visual novel Yu-No, soared beyond their eroge roots.
