THPS Fest at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles celebrates the return of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 by providing a closer look at some of the parks coming to the game on July 11.
Read on for a breakdown of the game content, including a look at the featured skateparks being brought into the game by the developers at Iron Galaxy Studios.
Iron Galaxy has a long history of working on some of the top IPs in video games. Their meticulous attention to detail and quality creates unforgettable gameplay experienced by players around the world. And now they’re extremely excited to put their stamp on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.
The Parks
Let’s take a look at five parks from the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 Skate Tour and four from the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 Skate Tour, including the new Waterpark level.
THPS 3 Skate Tour Parks
Los Angeles: Hit up sick tricks in the urban landscape of L.A. underneath the Hollywood sign. Watch out for traffic, check out upcoming movies advertised on a vert ramp outside the El Rey theater, and set an earthquake into motion.
Foundry: The first skatepark players will drop into as part of the THPS 3 Skate Tour, Foundry is set in an industrial steel mill with molten metal, ramps, grind rails, a secret area, and explosive environmental hazards.
Canada: Shred in the mountains of Calgary, Alberta in a snowy outdoor skatepark with ramps, rails, and cabins in an area blending urban and natural elements for diverse trick opportunities.
Rio: A vibrant competition level set in Brazil featuring a colorful stadium in downtown Rio with high-scoring lines designed for intense contest runs.
Suburbia: Drop into a neighborhood cul-de-sac during Halloween and skate in a construction zone, a haunted house, and a backward swimming pool. As tasty as it may look, try not to get run over by the ice cream truck.
THPS 4 Skate Tour Parks
College: Skip class and shred the sprawling CCHU campus, stopping in to pop off tricks over the rooftops and across the student plaza while building up huge combos over the stadium rails.
San Francisco: Skate outside the Boardwalk View Hotel with views of the San Francisco Bay. Skitch a ride on the trolley, go sightseeing at The Pier, and grind along the overhead walkway in this park blending street skating with vert elements across a large, explorable cityscape.
Alcatraz: Visit the gritty island prison and skate its rooftop and the surrounding grounds including a line up to the lighthouse and some sick vert action inside the compound in view of the jail cells.
Waterpark: A new park being added to the THPS 4 Skate Tour, Waterpark takes place in the Mojave Desert at a water theme park with rides you can combo on and a skateable lazy river. Get a deeper dive on the new skatepark with our Bird’s Eye View feature found here.

If you’ve ever wanted to raid ancient tombs or explore Croft Manor – but with pinballs flying everywhere – you’re in for something special. Tomb Raider Pinball arrives in Pinball FX on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on June 19, including two awesome new tables: Adventures of Lara Croft and Secrets of Croft Manor.
But why is this an amazing crossover, you may ask? At their core, both Tomb Raider and pinball are about quick reflexes, careful planning, and that rush you get when you finally pull off the impossible. Whether you’re dodging traps in a crumbling tomb or trying to save a ball rolling toward the drain, it’s that same exciting mix of precision and chaos. But there’s more to pinball than just keeping that silver ball alive. Each table tells a story that makes it unique. Let’s see what lies behind the ramps and rails of these two beauties!
Adventures of Lara Croft is all about Lara’s classic expeditions – from Peru’s jungles to Egypt’s pyramids, from the Great Wall to the frozen caves of Tibet. Along the way, you’ll face off against familiar foes like Mark Willard, Werner Von Croy, or Natla and the Atlanteans. While exploring these remarkable locations and fighting your way through your enemies, you can even play a special third-person shooting mode with Lara’s iconic dual pistols.
There’s a lot to discover while you explore this world, choosing your missions from the globe pictured above: massive Tomb Multiballs, tricky trap ramps, dangerous pits, and finally, the Survivor Wizard Mode that pulls moments from the Survivor Trilogy for one final showdown. It’s pure, distilled Tomb Raider adventure mixed with the excitement of pinball.
In Secrets of Croft Manor, you’ll flip your way through the grand halls, uncover hidden rooms, and unlock the secrets that lie deep within the Croft family estate. There’s a ton going on here: agility courses, combat training, puzzle-solving sessions, and a maze to get lost (and found) in.
Even the Croft family butler, Winston, makes an appearance. Be careful not to lock him in the freezer!
The magic is in the details in this table – the grand staircase ramps, the spiral library staircase, the hidden study… It’s a love letter to anyone who ever spent hours just exploring Croft Manor between adventures. This table also features a rotating “fireplace” target in the middle, which will transform into interactive table elements according to which main mission you’ve activated.
By translating Lara Croft’s world into fast-paced pinball gameplay, Tomb Raider Pinball captures the spirit of discovery, challenge, and triumph that has made the series legendary, with a whole new perspective that’s perfect for fans and newcomers alike.
Do you have what it takes to become the ultimate tomb raider? Find it out on June 19, when Tomb Raider Pinball launches in Pinball FX!
To celebrate the eradication of the Illuminate invaders, Super Earth mobilizes our most regal looking troops yet – a true celebration of our forebears. Enter the Masters of Ceremony Premium Warbond*! Wield all-new elite weaponry, capes and armours to step into the boots of Super Earth’s most decorated units.
To start, let us look at the R-2 Amendment.

Paired with the CQC-2 Sabre.
A sabre hailing from an elegant time will inspire you to lead the charge and thrust your blade through the heart of our enemies.
To round out the parade spectacle; introducing the G-142 Pyrotech Grenade.
When thrown, it will spin and shower the surrounding area in sparks before ceremoniously exploding in a ball of flames. Farewell, pitiful enemies of Super Earth.
Show off your love for Managed Democracy and inspire those around you with the CQC-1 One True Flag.
Feared across the galaxy and attesting to the might of Managed Democracy, this sharp symbol of freedom doubles as a spear to drive home the values of our glorious sovereignty. It brings a tear to our eyes.
Sure, your killing looks great. But how do you look, Helldiver? Let’s accessorize.
For formal occasions the RE-1861 Parade Commander brings old-school prestige whilst being lightweight enough to react in the heat of battle. Pair it with the Humble Regalia cape to make it shine for Democracy in red, black and gold.
After something a little more menacing? Look no further than the RE-2310 Honorary Guard. A traditional but battle hardened armor. Pair with the Federations Embrace cape to pay honor to the glory of Super Earth and our fallen forebears.
Both armors come stock standard with the Reinforced Epaulettes perk, offering your limbs the chance of not breaking so you can continue to wave the flag of victory. For maximum respect, unlock the Decorated Hero title and Lockstep emote to ensure you and your fellow Helldivers parade together on the bodies of your victories. In unison.

Today, I am thrilled to officially unveil a new studio in the PlayStation Studios family. teamLFG originated at Bungie, but has also rallied developers from across the industry to bring to life an ambitious incubation project that I’m very excited about. The studio is now fully formed and ready to be introduced to the world.
I’ll let teamLFG introduce themselves properly and give a tiny glimpse of what they’ve been working on.
“Hello, world. It’s a delight to meet you, and we’re very grateful to be joining PlayStation Studios.
Our studio is headquartered in Bellevue, WA, with team members working both on-site and remotely throughout the U.S. and Canada. We are a team composed not just of industry veterans who have shipped titles like Destiny, Halo, League of Legends, Fortnite, Roblox, and Rec Room, but also industry newcomers with fresh creative perspectives and skills. We are passionate about exceptional action-based gameplay, moment-to-moment game feel, and richly social virtual worlds.
The “LFG” in “teamLFG” stands for “Looking For Group.” We are driven by a mission to create games where players can find friendship, community, and belonging. We want our players to feel excited when they log on to discover their teammates already hanging out online. We want our players to recognize familiar names and to make myths and memes out of each other. We want our players to love remembering that one time where they pulled off That Play that changed the whole story of the match. As we say on the team – dat’s da good stuff.
We will make immersive multiplayer worlds propelled by action games that players can learn, play, and master for countless hours. We want to build our games with our communities, inviting players to be a part of our development process through early access playtests. It’s critical that we stay nimble enough to react to player feedback, not just in our lead-up to launch, but throughout live service as we continue to grow the game and community for years to come.
Our first game is a team-based action game that draws inspiration from fighting games, platformers, MOBAs, life sims, and frog-type games. Players will inhabit a lighthearted, comedic world set in brand-new, mythic, science-fantasy universe. We can’t wait to reveal more.
‘Til then, we’ll do our best! Thanks for reading.”

For Guardians, there are always new corners of the cosmos to explore, new stories to immerse themselves in, and new adventures to conquer. Today, the Bungie development team behind Destiny 2 gave the world a first look at what comes next: the epic start of a brand-new Destiny saga!
During the reveal event, Destiny 2 developers unveiled the Year of Prophecy, including a mix of deep dives and sneak peeks at the game’s next two expansions: The Edge of Fate, which will be released on July 15, and Renegades, which follows on December 2, with both available to pre-order now. The two campaigns will not only kick off the story of the all-new Fate Saga but launch alongside a variety of changes to core systems and gameplay mechanics aimed at refreshing how players experience the challenges — and rewards — the game has to offer.
While we can’t possibly cover everything with the space we have here, let’s hit some of the biggest highlights from today’s event, and give you a taste of what to expect in the year ahead for Destiny 2.
The Nine beckon
With the aptly named Fate Saga, Guardians will be asking themselves big questions about their place and role in the universe. Questions like: What is fate? What (or who) is out there, and are they planning for us to find them? These cosmic mysteries and more are at the heart of this new storyline and, with The Edge of Fate, returning players and new Guardians alike will be jumping onboard a new narrative; one that will reward longtime fans who are familiar with Destiny lore, while also serving as an ideal entry point for new players.
“Before the Traveler ever arrived in our solar system, there was already magic here,” said Destiny Assistant Game Director Robbie Stevens. “With the Fate Saga, we want to explore one of Destiny’s biggest mysteries: the foundations of our universe.”
That investigation starts with the Nine – enigmatic celestial beings that have existed… well, for a very, very long time. Destiny players have seen and heard hints about this pantheon of extradimensional beings but the mystery that lies behind them will be one of the primary drivers of the action in The Fate Saga.
Close to the Edge
In The Edge of Fate, Guardians will answer an invitation from a member of the Nine, leading them to a new destination at the edge of the solar system: the mysterious planetoid of Kepler. Shrouded in powerful dark matter, Kepler is a new kind of destination for Destiny players. “We took inspiration from experiences like Dreaming City, dungeons, Exotic missions, and Metroidvanias when creating The Edge of Fate,” said Destiny 2 Narrative Director Alison Luhrs. “At the heart of The Edge of Fate is player-driven discovery and exploration utilizing brand new destination abilities.”
These destination abilities will lend players powerful new capabilities they can activate to help solve puzzles or to use in combat. Matterspark is a prime example, allowing the Guardian the ability to transform into a ball of energy. “Transforming into Matterspark lets you squeeze through tight spaces, jump and dash through the environment, and become a rolling ball of death, shocking and jolting enemies who dare come across you,” said Stevens. Other examples include the Void-focused Relocator Cannon that allows you to teleport around the world, and Mattermorph which combines dark matter and Strand to allow the Guardian to manipulate the environment around them.
Beyond the new narrative, new characters (check out the reveal event replay for an introduction to the newest member of the Destiny character cast, Lodi), and the new destination and abilities, the Bungie team has been hard at work on innovating the core hobby of playing Destiny as well as responding to feedback from fans. A great example is the new Solo Ops playlist, the perfect mode for players who don’t have a lot of time and prefer to play alone.
Truly we’ve only scratched the surface of what Guardians can expect with The Edge of Fate and the Year of Prophecy. Watch the reveal event replay to get all the news on what we’ve covered here, alongside details on the new Portal feature, Power progression updates, activity customization, gear tiering, and much more.
To whet your appetite, Rite of the Nine – a prologue for The Edge of Fate – launches today in Destiny 2. This dungeon-themed event features new difficulty modes that will challenge veteran players and welcome Guardians who have never stepped foot in a dungeon or want to go solo in Explore mode. Brave the depths of the Rite and you can earn special Nine-themed Holofoil weapons.
Think of it as an appetizer to the main course ahead in The Edge of Fate and beyond. Happy feasting, Guardians.
