Cult Of The Lamb Teases Crossover With Don’t Starve Series

“Join us on August 21”.

Cult of the Lamb was one of the indie highlights of 2022 and since its successful launch on the Switch last updates, it’s received multiple updates and even DLC.

The next batch that’s been teased is a collaboration with the ‘Don’t Starve‘ series. Here’s the line attached to the latest trailer: “The portal has opened but will the Lamb survive?”. This update, whatever it happens to be, is dropping early next week on 21st August.

Red Dead Redemption is out on the Switch eShop today — with a physical release coming later in the year. There’s been controversy around the port’s price point and concerns over the game’s quality (given the state of the GTA Trilogy‘s launch…), so what is this port like?

Pokémon-Like MMO Temtem Catches New Update On Switch, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Temtempting.

Developer Crema has today released a brand new update for the Pokémon-inspired MMO Temtem, bringing the game up to ver.1.4.2.

While this latest update does tackle some bugs that had been flagged by the community in recent months, the biggest changes this time around appear to be in balancing the ‘Tems’ themselves. 59 different in-game creatures have been tweaked in this patch, with attack powers, HP and skills being changed accordingly.

Sea Of Stars Dev Open To Revisiting Ninja Hit The Messenger

“Maybe one day”.

Developer Sabotage Studio launches its new RPG Sea of Stars on the Switch later this month, and while it’s got its hands full right now with this upcoming release, it hopes to possibly revisit its 2D platformer / Metroidvania title The Messenger.

Speaking to Game Informer, Thierry Boulanger mentioned how “there’s more to be told” about The Messenger, and “that specific arc” and “maybe one day” it could be returned to.

Ed Boon To Reveal New Mortal Kombat 1 Trailer At Opening Night Live

Get ready for another “world premiere”.

Ahead of Opening Night Live at Gamescom next week, the show’s host Geoff Keighley has teased a “world premiere” for the upcoming fighting game Mortal Kombat 1.

Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon will apparently be taking to the stage for this reveal. Although nothing else is attached to this latest update, it’s expected to be another character reveal – with the Mortal Kombat 1 social account sharing the following line alongside this announcement:
