Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + Booster Course Physical Release Reportedly Updated

It seems “all” of the DLC is on the card.

Last year, ahead of the release of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ‘Wave 6’ DLC, Nintendo published a physical bundle in select parts of the world featuring the Booster Course Pass (including Waves 1-5 and a free Wave 6 download).

Now, in an update, it’s apparently released a physical edition with “all” of the DLC on the game cartridge. As highlighted by NintendoSoup, a new physical edition in Southeast Asia features updated Switch packaging, noting how “this special bundle comes with Wave 1-6 DLC”.

Gearbox Teases ‘Borderlands 4’ (Again), Following Movie’s Box Office Flop

Tetris 99 ‘Splatoon 3 Edition’ Maximus Cup Event Announced

Unlock a special theme later this month.

Update :

Nintendo has now officially announced this new crossover event for Tetris 99. Once again, it will run from 16th August until 19th August. We’ve also got a trailer showing off the new theme you can unlock. As usual, this theme comes with special background art, music and Tetrimino designs which are this time inspired by Splatoon 3 and its expansion pass.

Looks Like Classic Puzzler ‘Boulder Dash’ Is Getting A 40th Anniversary Re-Release

The classic Atari and Commodore puzzle game Boulder Dash is 40 years old this year. The game has been re-released multiple times over the years, and it looks we’re getting another version sometime soon.

Spotted via GamePress by Landlock on Twitter, Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary has been developed by BBG Entertainment in collaboration with the game’s original creators and isn’t just a simple rerelease of a classic. There are 180 brand new levels to play through, including every single world from Boulder Dash I, II, and III. Five new worlds will play host to these new levels, and one of those worlds has been created by one of the original developers, Peter Liepa.

Random: Bull-Airs Range Of Nintendo-Inspired Sneakers Is Extremely cool

Power dressing.

New York City-based clothing and sneaker company Bull-Airs has recently released a retro-inspired collection heavily referencing Nintendo’s classic consoles, and a new set of pre-orders will be going live this Friday (thanks, GoNintendo!).

The sneakers come in four different varieties, each one inspired by the colour scheme and typeface used on each console. Most of these have been available before — as recently as July, even! — but this rereleased line includes a brand new colour design.

Poll: Tomba! Special Edition Is Out, But Have You Been Able To Play The Thing On Switch?

Hard-locking on one of our Switches, but fine on another.

Limited Run Games’ port of the cult classic Tomba! (or Tombi! in Europe) is out — in fact, it’s been out a while now, having launched on 1st August — and if you’ve been looking forward to this one you’re probably wondering where our review of this Special Edition release has gotten to.

We’ve seen reports online of issues with the 1997 PlayStation platformer ranging from major to minor across all platforms, and the devs have stated that there’s a patch in the works to address known issues. The thing is, we’ve run into a serious issue that renders Tomba essentially unplayable on Nintendo’s console — or one of us has.

World Of Goo 2 Switch Update Now Live – New Pro Controller Feature, Fixes And More

You can now use your controller “like a Joy-Con”.

World of Goo 2 rolled onto the Nintendo Switch eShop earlier this month and following the confirmation of a physical release (due out this October), 2D Boy and Tomorrow Corporation have now issued a new update for the game.

It addresses some bugs, does some other stuff, and perhaps most notably allows players to use their Pro Controllers like a Joy-Con controller. There are also some QoL improvements to the language options. Here’s the full rundown, courtesy of a post on social media:

Video: Capcom Spotlights ‘X-Men Children Of The Atom’ In New MvC: Fighting Collection Trailer

One of seven games included.

Capcom is bringing its Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection to the Switch at some point later this year and in the lead up to the big release, it’s given fans a look at one of the games in this retro compilation.

It’s footage of ‘X-Men Children of the Atom‘ which originally made its debut in arcades back in the mid ’90s, and followed with a console and PC release in the second half of this same decade.
