Random: Is That The Zelda Triforce In Sonic Racing’s Artwork? No, Probably Not

Sonic experts are on the case.

Last week, SEGA unveiled the first batch of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds guest characters. This includes not only characters like Hatsune Miku but also Steve, Alex and Creeper from Minecraft. There are some other supposed leaks still doing the rounds as well.

Now, the official Sonic social media account has sent Sonic fans into a frenzy once again, with a new piece of artwork apparently featuring a very familiar-looking symbol. The focus here is on what looks exactly like the Triforce from the Legend of Zelda series.

Review: Nintendo Switch 2 Carry Case – The Official Option Is A Solid One

Made by Nintendo itself.

When it comes to carry cases, many people swear by ‘official’ options, and with good reason; when Nintendo is tasked with making a case for its own console, you’d assume the company would produce a decent product.

That’s certainly true of the official Nintendo Switch 2 Carry Case ($39.99 / £20.99), which is one of the two options currently being offered by Nintendo itself (the second is a larger, all-in-one option that costs a bit more).

New content ink-oming.

Here’s a Switch game we thought would get a little boost on Switch 2 — Splatoon 3! While it wasn’t part of the initial free update line-up, Nintendo (via the Nintendo Today! app) has announced that the game will be receiving a Switch 2 update later this week, on 12th June.

That’s not all, though — 30 new weapons in the form of the Splatlands Collection (based on older weapons), a raise on freshness caps, new badges to earn, and a new stat in Anarchy Battle which will help with matchmaking.

PSA: Remember, You Can ‘Fix’ The Camera In Zelda: The Wind Waker On Switch 2

Just watch how it affects other gameplay mechanics.

After years of begging from passionate fans, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker has made it to the Switch 2.

Okay, it’s not the HD version we were perhaps hoping for, but if you’re particularly fond of the GameCube original, you can now play it via Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. It’s even better with the new wireless GameCube controller, too, but it does have a little gameplay quirk that might feel a bit odd if you’re not used to it.

Yes, Call Of Duty Is Still On The Way To Nintendo Hardware

Microsoft and Activision reconfirm.

Nintendo’s platforms were notably absent from the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 announcement, so what exactly is going on here now that the 10-year deal has been done and the Switch 2 is officially in the hands of consumers?

Although there have been no public updates, according to Kotaku’s senior reporter Ethan Gach, Nintendo and Microsoft still plan to announce something in the future. It’s not exactly the most thrilling development, but when Kotaku reached out to Microsoft about this, it was reassured it’s still happening:

The Switch 2 has got off to promising start, but there is one issue Nintendo has identified that’s tied to the system’s battery.

On its support page, it’s acknowledged an issue where the “battery charge indicator” or percentage on the Switch 2 displays incorrectly. In some cases, the charge may display as being almost depleted, when there are still actually a few hours of battery life left.

Review: The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition – A Sublime Sequel, Now Sublimer

Come on and join the Kohga.

It felt weird coming back to Tears of the Kingdom, one of my favourite gaming experiences evz, so soon after I had wrapped it up for the first time. Time has sped by unfathomably quickly, and I wasn’t sure whether a performance boost and an additional mobile app would be enough to let the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition get its hooks in me to quite the same extent as its predecessor did back in 2023.

Nonetheless, I couldn’t call myself a true Zelda fan if I didn’t at least have a gander at this new package. I started a new save file (because that’s an option now), blinked, and suddenly realised that five hours had passed.
