The Switch 2’s ‘Nintendo Classics’ GameCube library for Switch Online expands next week with the return of the original Luigi’s Mansion.

This spooky GameCube launch title will drop on 30th October 2025, so just in time for Halloween. It made its debut in 2001 and puts Luigi in the spotlight as the main character. After winning a mansion filled with ghosts, he’s now got to save the day with the help of Professor E. Gadd and his trusty Poltergust 3000.

Resident Evil Requiem Pre-Orders Live, Switch 2 Pro Controller And Amiibo Confirmed

Capcom has revealed a bunch of new information for Resident Evil Requiem ahead of its Switch 2 launch next year on 27th February.

Pre-orders are now live via the Switch 2 eShop, with a standard edition priced at £64.99 / $69.99 and a deluxe edition at £74.99 / $79.99. The latter will grant you the following bonus features, while pre-orders for either edition will bag a special Grace: Apocalypse costume:

Rare NES Platformer ‘Little Samson’ Is Coming To Switch In 2026

Limited Run Games has announced that it’s bringing NES side-scrolling platformer Little Samson to the Switch in 2026. The reveal took place during the company’s 10th anniversary stream.

Originally released in 1992 for the NES and directed by former Capcom designer Shinichi Yoshimoto (Strider, Ghouls ‘n Ghosts), Little Samson sees you controlling one of four characters — the eponymous Samson, a dragon called Kikira, the golem Gamm, or a mouse called K.O.

Ever since Viewfinder was first announced for Switch earlier this summer, we’ve been eager to find out how the award-winning photo puzzle game would hold up on the Nintendo hybrid. Well, today we learned that we don’t have long to wait.

Thunderful and Sad Owl Games have announced that Viewfinder will arrive on the Switch eShop on 3rd December, slotting itself into the same week as Metroid Prime 4, Octopath Traveler 0, MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, Assassin’s Creed Shadows and every other game under the sun, it seems.

Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Soundtrack Is Scoring A Gorgeous Vinyl Release Next Year

Well this is music to our ears! Nintendo has announced that it’s teaming up with Laced Records to give the Breath of the Wild soundtrack the vinyl treatment next year in two stunning collections.

We’ll start with the biggie. A 130-track 8 LP box set is now available to pre-order from both Laced Audio and the My Nintendo Store for £145 / $195 with options for both coloured and standard black vinyl. Each LP in the collection comes in a gorgeous sleeve with art from the game, all wrapped up in a sleek gold and blue box that we just know would look perfect on our shelves (sorry wallet).

Eagle-eyed Donkey Kong Bananza fans have spotted an advertisement for the game’s next event, and it sounds like the rewards will be quite familiar to those who played Donkey Kong 64 back in the day.

SpongeBob’s New Game Joins In On The Halloween Fun With A Ghostly Switch 2 Demo

There was recently news about the upcoming release SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide getting a demo on select platforms, and ahead of Halloween, it’s now officially available on the Switch 2 eShop.

You’ll apparently be able to access the first levels of the game as SpongeBob and Patrick, and also some new abilities (thanks, Nintendo Everything). In general, you’ll also be able to get an idea of what to expect before the full release next month on 18th November 2025.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars Updated To Version 1.1.4, Improves Gameplay On Switch 2

Nintendo has been updating all sorts of first-party titles since the release of the Switch 2 in June, and today it’s rolled out an update for its limited-time release, Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

According to the official patch notes on Nintendo’s support page, Version 1.1.4 addresses “several issues” to improve gameplay on the new hybrid hardware. Nintendo doesn’t go into the specifics, but if we hear anything, we’ll let you know.
