Video: Uh Oh, Elden Ring On Switch 2 Has Issues In Handheld Mode

Is it tarnished?

Nintendo has a pretty big booth at Gamescom this year, with a large chunk of areas dedicated to the glut of third-party ports coming to (or are already out on) the Switch 2.

One of those upcoming titles is Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, which brings the highly-acclaimed open-world RPG from FromSoftware to Nintendo’s new console. This rerelease includes the base game, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, new weapons, classes, and armour. So we knew we had to try it out on the newer console.

Final Fantasy 14 Director Has Had “Positive Discussions” With Nintendo On Switch 2 Port

“I do hope that players will look forward to hopefully good news”.

The hugely-popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV — which is about to celebrate its 12th anniversary (in its rebooted form) — is one of our most-requested Switch 2 ports, particularly from this writer. And it sounds like we’re one step closer to seeing the game come to the hybrid console.

Watch out, Mario Kart World.

Kirby has the ability to put everyone in a good mood, right? I mean, I’ve been in a lovely mood thanks to the pink puffball (and Nintendo), as I was lucky enough to go hands-on with the upcoming racer Kirby Air Riders for the Nintendo Switch 2 at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.

As a surprising sequel to Kirby Air Ride on the GameCube, it’s a really fascinating game, and it does, as director Masahiro Sakurai said in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, feel very different to Mario Kart World. So let me run you through what I got to play during my behind-closed-doors session.
