Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake was one of my favorite games last year, offering gorgeous HD-2D visuals, an orchestrated soundtrack, and plenty of charm. Now is the time to start building your catalog for Nintendo Switch 2, and what better place to start than Dragon Quest?

Visions of Mana released at the end of August, and it’s available on sale for the first time this weekend. This is the first new Mana game in almost two decades, starring a cast of characters on a quest to save the world. Opinion: Switch 2 Finally Gives Star Wars Outlaws A Second Chance

Hoth Take.

It’s May 4th, Star Wars Day. Or, as we refer to it at Nintendo Life Towers, Oh-god-Jim’s-going-to-bang-on-about-Star-Wars-again Day.

Heh, it’s true, I am a fiend for all things from a Galaxy Far, Far Away, and, if I’m being honest, that has sometimes meant that I’m a little more keen to see the Light Side than embrace the more realistic Darkness. But my rambling this year isn’t an ‘Attack of the Clones is Good, Actually’ hot take, my dear Younglings. Instead, I’m about to hit you with some cold, hard facts. The kind of facts that are based mostly on my own point of view, of course.

Poll: Box Art Brawl – Duel: 1080° Avalanche

Or ‘Silverstorm’, if you like.

Hello folks, and welcome back to another edition of Box Art Brawl.

Last week, we looked at Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones for the GBA in celebration of its addition to Nintendo Switch Online. Hoo boy, it was a close one too. In the end, North America and Europe triumphed over Japan with 51% of the vote, but really, this one could have gone either way.

The Shadow Syndicate mixes a bit of LA Noire, a touch of Max Payne, and furries to make a game you should keep your eye on

Do you ever think to yourself, “gee, I wish that LA Noire actually looked like a noir film and also everyone is a furry”? Then boy howdy do I have the game for you: The Shadow Syndicate. It just got announced yesterday at the Gamescom Latam showcase, and I should say it’s not exactly like LA Noire in that you don’t have to try and read the faces of motion capture actors overperforming their hearts out. What it does have is some detective work, gunplay, and even some Max Payneish bullet-time. How can you not be into that mixture?

There’s a new Honkai game on the way with characters from Star Rail and Impact 3rd, and it sure does look like a Pokemon clone

I’m not sure how they have time for it, but as part of a livestream held earlier today, HoYoVerse revealed yet another new game. This one isn’t a completely new world, it’s actually another Honkai game, though right now it doesn’t have a name. A very short teaser was shared for it which literally just called it a “brand new Honkai game”, but there were a couple of signs that it was one anyway. Namely, the presence of a couple of characters, Kiana and Blade.

The Company That “Leaked” Switch 2 Is Being Sued By Nintendo

Genki “used Nintendo’s trademarks… in violation of Nintendo’s rights”.

Remember when Genki, the accessory maker behind products like the Shadowcast and Savepoint, showed off a mockup of the Switch 2 at CES earlier this year, stealing a march on Nintendo’s official unveiling? Well, it turns out Nintendo itself wasn’t too thrilled at the surprise being ruined, and is taking Genki to court.

In documents spotted by Oatmeal Dome, Nintendo claims that Genki “demoed and promoted unauthorized purported mockups and renderings of the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories” at CES, infringing its trademarks.
