The year is 2025 and Lord of the Rings feels very much like it’s “a thing” again. We’re not sure that it ever really went away, to be honest, but we’ve got The Rings of Power on TV (and it’s actually rather good now), the War of the Rohirrim hit cinemas, a ‘Hunt for Gollum‘ movie is planned, and, perhaps most importantly for us, more Middle Earth games are on the horizon.
Last week, we took a look at Crash Nitro Kart for the GameCube, a sequel to Crash Team Racing that never quite managed to step out of its predecessor’s shadow. North America sealed the deal this time with 53% of the vote, while EU managed 30% and Japan just 17% (bit awkward – we like the Japanese variant). Well done, North America!
Instead we got Switch Online’s retro subscription tiers.
Before Nintendo’s subscription service took off, fans were able to individually buy and download first-party retro titles and play them whenever they wanted thanks to the Virtual Console service.
Although this was eventually replaced with Switch Online’s tier-based retro library, Nintendo apparently had plans to carry over the existing Virtual Console service and add online functionality. This information comes from “a new leak of iQue emails not too long ago” according to Yakumono’s Blog, run by dataminer (and Nintendo Life user) LuigiBlood.
Pure Rock Crawling is about steering off road vehicles across rocky terrain. It’s about pumping the gas pedal and wrenching the steering wheel just so, such that you lurch forward and over the obstacles, rather than tumbling backwards. It’s MudRunner without the mud, with a knockabout simplicity presumably as a result of its apparently one-man development team. It launched last October but I hadn’t heard of it until today, when a new map was added, and now I want to play it.
Minecraft is the best PC game, according to me and the RPS staff who dare not cross me. I played it for three hours today and, among the many build challenges and adventures, a small story formed around a baby pig. We named him Porky, we caged him as our pet, and in an unfortunate accident, we watched as he fell to his death from the sky island that was our home. RPS in peace, Porky.
How many befriended pigs like Porky have there been across the last several hundred hours of play? I’m not sure – dozens, hundreds – but soon such pigs might have a new form. After 15 years, Mojang are adding new types of pig to Minecraft.
Marvel Rivals received a patch earlier this week which made Hulk less hulky and paved the way for the launch of its first season. It also did something else: disabled the mods players had been using to add custom skins to the game.

A lot has changed in video gaming since Switch launched in 2017. Beyond all Nintendo’s handheld hybrid switching, we now live in a world where a Nintendo game on mobile is a fairly normal occurrence and both Microsoft and Sony publish games on Nintendo’s console. Crazy.
As we await official word on the next generation of Nintendo hardware, it’s got us thinking back on the current cycle and the games that defined the era for Switch owners.

How to Redeem Anime Royale Codes
To redeem Anime Royale codes, boot up the Roblox Experience and, once you’re in, follow the steps below:
Anime Royale codes work slightly differently to most other Roblox codes. To redeem a code, first enter the hub world and look for the area labelled Codes. It’s shown in the image above and can be found between the Raids and Challenge areas.
When you arrive, walk up to the shrine below the Codes sign.
As you approach the shrine, the codes bar will automatically appear. Input your code and then press Redeem Code to add the rewards to your account.
Why Isn’t My Anime Royale Code Working?
If your Anime Royale code isn’t working, it’s likely due to one of two scenarios. The first is that the code was inputted incorrectly. Make sure you have the code inputted exactly as it is in the Active Codes section above. You can even copy and paste codes directly from this article over to Roblox if you want to make sure you’re inputting them correctly.
The other possibility is the code has expired or you’ve already used it. If your code has been used, a message will appear in the bar reminding you that the code’s already been activated. If the code has expired, it’ll show up as invalid, meaning its no longer available to use.
How to Get More Anime Royale Codes
If you want to hunt down some extra Anime Royale codes, make your way over to the game’s official Discord server. When you’ve joined, jump into the Game Announcements channel. Whenever a code is added, the devs will drop it in here, so you can copy and paste them directly over to the game.

How to Redeem Fisch Codes
To redeem Fisch codes, boot up the Roblox Experience and, once you’re in, follow the steps below:
Look at the top of the screen. You’ll see a button labelled “Menu“.
Click the button to open the menu screen, then scroll down to the bottom of the menu tab.
At the very bottom, you’ll see the codes bar. Input your code into this bar and then press the ENTER key to redeem it.
Why Isn’t My Fisch Code Working?
If your Fisch code isn’t working, it’s likely due to one of two scenarios. The first is that the Fisch code was inputted incorrectly. Check the spelling and that the case is correct, then redeem again. You can even copy and paste the codes directly from this article over to Roblox if you want to make sure you’re inputting them correctly.
The other possibility is the code has expired or you’ve already used it. In this scenario, you should see an error message pop up below the code bar informing you that the code has already been used or is invalid.
How to Get More Fisch Codes
The best way to get more Fisch codes is by joining the Fisch Discord server. However, it’s worth noting the server can be difficult to join considering it’s frequently full, with a whopping 500,000 members. If you do run into that issue, keep checking back every few days until you’re provided access. Luckily, the team also posts Fisch codes over on X, so even if you can’t join the server, it’s worth checking the Fisch X account to see if you can find some there.
