Arc System Works Reveals New Characters For Two Switch Fighters

One is DLC, the other is a main roster addition.

As part of this weekend’s Anime Expo 2024 celebrations, Arc System Works shared two fighting game announcements.

First up was the reveal of Uzuki for Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes. This character will arrive as a DLC fighter in August. This “dramatic stylish 2D fighting game” arrived on the Nintendo Switch earlier this year with 1-2 players locally and 1-9 players online.

Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid Is Getting A Local Switch Release This August

A demo will be made available later this month.

At this year’s Anime Expo, Spike Chunsoft announced Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid for the Nintendo Switch will be coming to North America and Europe next month on 6th August 2024. It is developed by TOYBOX Inc. and Millennium Kitchen Co.,Ltd.

This follows the game’s Japanese release on the Switch in July last year. The local release will be released “exclusively” as a digital download for the Switch eShop, with a demo also set to be made available on 30th July 2024.

Zenless Zone Zero Producer Reportedly Open To Switch Successor Release

Switch fans are still waiting for Genshin Impact.

Earlier this week, the developer of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail released its new free-to-play gacha action RPG Zenless Zone Zero on the PlayStation 5 and mobile devices. The producer of the series Zhenyu Li was asked by Famtisu recently about the chances of a Nintendo release.

Round Up: Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2024 – Every Switch Game Featured

Alongside Anime Expo 2024 this week, Bandai Namco hosted its ‘Summer Showcase’ for 2024. The main show and pre-show were packed with all sorts of anime-related announcements, and many of the games featured are coming to the Switch.

While the majority of games and release dates have already been confirmed for the Switch (and many titles are already out), there were still some new announcements including a DLC reveal for Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream and some Pac-Man content for Gundam Breaker 4.
