What do you do on the 1st of December? Put up the Christmas tree? Open the first door of your Advent Calendar? Or have a browse at the most recent eShop Selects? Of course, it’s the latter!
We’re looking back at November before we hit the holidays, and while those in North America may be recovering from overindulgence at Thanksgiving, we hope everyone can find something they want to play over the festive period. As always, this list of games is voted for by Nintendo Life staff and contributors — they pick their top three from the eShop games we’ve reviewed, and you’ll see the results below.
Cyber Monday 2024 lands on December 2, but that’s literally just half the story. Much like with Black Friday, Cyber Monday deals actually get released in two waves. The first wave happens today, Sunday, and primarily involves deals from brick & mortar retailers like Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and Gamestop. The second wave happens on Monday and involves deals from online only retailers like Amazon, Alienware, HP, Lenovo, Newegg, and more.
In terms of deal quality, there are better-than-expected discounts on gaming consoles like the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Meta Quest , and Steam Deck, several Apple iPads, AirPods, and Apple Watches, heavily discounted video games, powerful gaming PCs and laptops, and more. Many of the same deals we saw on Black Friday have returned for Cyber Monday, including deals that were previously sold out or expired. I am also seeing a number of new deals that never happened on Black Friday. Check out the full list below.
If you’ve wanted to give VR gaming a try but the cost of entry has kept you at bay, then you don’t want to miss out on the one Meta Quest deal for Cyber Monday. The Meta Quest 3S was indisputably the best value out there in the world of VR gaming even at its retail price. However, for Cyber Monday, Target decided to turn it up a notch by including a bonus $100 Target gift card (you’ll see it automatically added to your shopping cart). The Meta Quest was our hottest seller on Black Friday (selling even more than the PlayStation and Switch consoles) and the bonus at the time was a $75 gift card or digital credit, depending on where you got it. This is a better deal and I expect it to blow up.
To sweeten the pot even more, every Quest 3S purchase this month comes with the Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game and a three-month trial of Meta Quest+. In IGN’s 8/10 review, Dan Stapleton wrote that “Batman: Arkham Shadow makes most of the Arkham series’ defining gameplay work respectably well in VR, and its mystery story pays off.”
The Best Price on Xbox Controllers
Lenovo just pushed out the best Xbox controller deal I’ve seen for both Cyber Monday and Black Friday. The Xbox wireless controller in Robot White or Electric Volt is on sale for $34.99. Carbon Black (with USB cable), Shock Blue, Pulse Red, and Deep Pink are on sale for $39.99. For any of these options, make sure you apply coupon code “BFCMXBOX” in your shopping cart. These controllers are compatible with Xbox Series X and S consoles as well as your PC.
The Bose QuietComfort is just a rename of the QuietComfort 45. Aside from the name and a few different color choices, they are the same headphone. The QuietComfort features excellent sound and noise cancelling performance for its price. They’re close in quality to Bose’s flagship headphone, which is nearly double the price. The QuietComfort is comfortable to wear, and the earcup material helps provide a solid seal around your ear, which in term improves passive noise isolation and improves sound quality even further. Other features include an updated USB Type-C port with fast-charge, a longer 24-hour battery life on a single charge, an “Aware” mode that lets you listen in on your surroundings.
Sony released its entire set of Cyber Monday PlayStation deals on November 21 and most major retailers have followed suit. These deals have an official end date of December 2 (Cyber Monday). The best deals are on the consoles: The PS5 Slim Disc Edition has dropped to $424.99 (originally $500) and the PS5 Slim Digital Edition has dropped to $374.99 (originally $450). I would choose the Disc Edition because it’s only $50 more and then I have the option to buy (and later sell or trade) physical disc media. But if you want to save some money and go the Digital Edition route, I would suggest getting the NBA 2K25 bundle (if you can catch it in-stock), which also includes a game. Although the Fortnite Cobalt Star bundle has a fancy-looking box, no actual game is included.

Star Wars: Outlaws was released only three months ago and it’s already 33% off for Cyber Monday. Maybe Ubisoft is trying to boost sales after a lackluster launch, but that means you get to enjoy a AAA title at a great discount. IGN’s Tristan Ogilvie gave it a 7/10 review, which is still good, but I’ve beaten the game and immensely enjoyed it, so I would have given it an 8. It definitely has an “Assassin’s Creed game in a Star Wars skin” vibe, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

The Best TV for PlayStation
I’ve been waiting for another good OLED TV deal to pop up for Cyber Monday ever since the previous one expired, and Walmart has finally delivered. Right now you can pick up a current 2024 model 65″ LG Evo C4 4K OLED Smart TV for only $1,272.44. To get this price you will need to follow two simple steps:
You’ll need to sign into your Walmart account to see this deal (signing up is free)
Clip the $224.55 coupon in your shopping cart to bring it down to $1,272.44
The LG Evo C4 OLED TV has won top spots in several of our buying guides, including best 4K TV, best TV for gaming, and best TV for the PlayStation 5. This is an especially good choice if you picked up the new PS5 Pro, since the updated hardware will be able to run more games at a consistent 4K @ 120fps.
Consoles are going in and out of stock
Walmart is the only retailer offering Tears of the Kingdom for $30. IGN gave it a 10/10 “Masterpiece” rating and I would have to agree. Tom Marks wrote that “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an unfathomable follow-up, expanding a world that already felt full beyond expectation and raising the bar ever higher into the clouds.” I wouldn’t wait too long to get this deal; Walmart is already sold out of physical copies.
Bowflex isn’t the only option when it comes to adjustable dumbbell sets, especially on Cyber Monday. FitRX is another popular brand at a much, much lower price point. As part of the Walmart Cyber Monday Sale, you can pick up a pair of FitRx Adjustable Dumbbells for only $139.97. A set of Bowflex 551 adjustable dumbbells costs three times more. Walmart even offers free shipping, which is great since the package will weigh in at well over 100 pounds.
There Apple iPad 10th gen for $259.99 is the iPad I would recommend to most people. It offers snappy performance and an intuitive iOS interface at an affordable price. Tenth gen improvements over its predecessor include a larger 10.9″ screen and a faster A14 Bionic chip, Magic Folio keyboard support so you can convert it into a mini laptop (making it one of the best iPads for students), a USB Type-C port, better camera, and updated Wi-Fi 6 protocol. This price was $10 less on Black Friday, but I don’t know if that deal will come back for Cyber Monday.
For anyone on a budget, this is the Apple Watch to get. The second generation Apple Watch SE starts at just $149 only at Amazon and Walmart and is the best price I’ve ever seen for a brand-new Apple Watch with a warranty. Despite the affordable price tag, you actually don’t lose out on much functionality if you opt for an Apple Watch SE. It’s powered by the same S8 processor found in the Apple Watch Series 8 and the first-generation Apple Watch Ultra. It also features a bright and sharp OLED Retina display, IPX7 water resistance, fall detection, sleep tracking, Apple Pay, and nearly all the fitness tracking functionality including heart rate monitoring.

The Best Cyber Monday LEGO Deal
The Nightmare Before Christmas 21351 is a large diorama that’s split up into three different locations. The three main set pieces are Spiral Hill (with a really great full moon backdrop), the Halloween Town Hall, and Jack Skellington’s house. All of these places are chock full of adorable nods to the movie, like the walking bathtub, a chalkboard in Jack’s house with his Christmas formula, and a lectern where Jack gave his speech about Christmas. There’s also great use of interspersed color to break up what should be a monotonous gray and black build (the Star Wars sets should take notes). A total of eight figures are included as well: Jack Skellington, Sally, Santa Clause, Lock, Shock and Barrel minifigures, plus Zero the dog and a brick-built The Mayor figure with 2 faces.
20% off the best entry-level espresso machine
Amazon has dropped the price of the super popular and well-reviewed Breville Bambino Plus Espresso Machine to $399.95 after a 20% discount. This machine is rarely discounted, even on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. You can read the reviews online, but the Bambino Plus is well-regarded, even among the coffee snobs, as an incredible bang for your buck at retail price, especially if you like pouring yourself lattes or other milk-based coffee drinks. To get something appreciably better, you’ll have to pay north of $1,000.
Up to 50% Off These Smart Glasses
There’s a very intriguing – if a bit controversial – deal going on that you might want to check out for yourself. Both Amazon and Target are offering a 20% discount off the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses, with prices starting at $239.20. That’s the same deal you’ll find at other retailers, however Amazon and Target are throwing in additional freebies: either $90 in Amazon digital credit or a $90 Target gift card. The Meta Wayfarer glasses are an influencer’s dream, and that’s exactly what they’re designed for: social media. They’re surprisingly slim and lightweight for glasses equipped with an integrated 12MP video camera and speaker. You can use them to take quick snapshots or up to 60 second videos that you can then upload to your social media of choice. You can even livestream 30 second videos in 720p.
From now until December 31, non-current Audible subscribers are eligible for three months of Audible Premium Plus for $0.99 per month and a bonus one-time $20 Audible credit. Premium Plus is Audible’s best plan and three months would normally cost you about $44.95. You also get a free audiobook of your choice each month that you get to keep indefinitely.
Audible is a subscription service that gives you access to hundreds of thousands of the best audiobooks without ever having to purchase them. Premium Plus is Audible’s highest tier plan and it gives you access to a whopping 500,000 audiobooks. These include all-time classics like Frank Herbert’s Dune, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire), The Witcher, The Sandman Series, and The Lord of the Rings.
Where Are the Xbox Deals?
Xbox gamers might be wondering why I haven’t listed Xbox consoles. Unfortunately, Microsoft seems to have taken a step back and decided not to host any outstanding console deals so far for Black Friday. All of the consoles are marked down by $50, but these deals aren’t exceptional. If you’re already an Xbox owner, however, and are looking for discounts on peripherals, there are two great deals to consider. The WD Black C50 Storage Expansion Card is down to $99.99 from $150. Also, Xbox wireless controllers are down to as low as $39.99. Even better, the limited edition Ghost Cipher and Sky Cipher controllers are both on sale for just $45 each.
This the currently the best Cyber Monday deal at Lenovo. This Legion Tower 7i RTX 4080 Super gaming PC is currently available for under $2000 with coupon code “LEGIONC5SALE24“. The 4080 Super is a second generation card that supersedes the RTX 4080. It’s Nvidia’s second most powerful card and a superior GPU to AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 RTX if you factor in DLSS and ray tracing performance. In our RTX 4080 Super review, Jacqueline Thomas writes, “If you’re in the market for a 4K graphics card around $1,000, it’s hard to think of any GPU that’s a better purchase right now. This is the RTX 4080 that should have launched in 2022.”

The Walmart Cyber Monday Sale brings with it this excellent gaming laptop deal. Walmart is offering a Lenovo LOQ RTX 4070 gaming laptop for only $879.99. Yes, you read that right. The LOQ is Lenovo’s lineup of budget-oriented gaming laptops. This system features a 15″ 1080p display, a low-voltage AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS CPU, GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The RTX 4070 GPU is a fully powered (115W TGP) model, not a throttled one like on some other budget laptops. Despite its low cost, this laptop will perform almost as well as the best RTX 4070 gaming laptops. You should be able to play any game comfortably on the 1080p display.

Perhaps the best Cyber Monday deal on a high-end gaming monitor has arrived. Amazon is offering the massive 57″ Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Dual 4K UHD gaming monitor at the exclusive price of $1,479.99. That’s $120 less than everyone else’s gaming monitor Black Friday deal and nearly 50% off the retail price. Keep in mind that there is no other monitor to compare it with. If you’re looking for the biggest and sharpest super ultra-wide gaming monitor on the planet, this would be it right here. Just make sure that your GPU is up to snuff.
Alienware just sweetened the deal on its best gaming monitor for Cyber Monday. The 32″ Alienware AW3225QF 32″ 4K QD OLED gaming monitor is down to $899.99. But that’s not all. Alienware is also including a bonus $100 Dell promotional e-gift card. The Alienware AW3225QF was released earlier this year and is actually Dell’s one and only monitor that combines a 4K resolution with an OLED panel.

The entry-level Hisense R6-series 4K smart TV offers a limited set of features in exchange for a rock bottom price. Don’t expect this TV to be decked out with the latest cutting-edge technology, however what you’ll get is a native 4K TV that works out of the box and still offers solid image quality that will satisfy most TV watchers. It has built-in speakers and Roku smart TV baked in. Roku is actually our favorite streaming hub because of its intuitive interface.

Best Buy is still the only retailer to drop the price on the Asus ROG Ally X so far for Black Friday or Cyber Monday. In our Asus ROG Ally X review, gaming guru Jacqueline Thomas wrote that “the Asus ROG Ally X is simply the best handheld gaming PC on the market right now. With more and faster memory and double the battery as the original Ally, the Ally X will run any modern game without dying in an hour and a half.”

These JLabs JBuds Lux are an incredible value. First of all, they feature both wireless connectivity and noise cancellation for under $30. Better yet, unlike virtually all other headphones at this price point, they’re actually very good! SoundGuys recently reviewed the JLabs JBuds Lux and gave it an absolutely glowing review, mentioning that they were one of the best headphones under $100. SoundGuys considered them an extremely good value at their retail price of $79. Imagine their opinion at the current $29 price point.

You can pick up a copy of Azul for only $20 for Cyber Monday. Many board games are about mystery or war, but Azul is totally different. Players in Azul compete to design the most beautiful tiled mosaics they can. In our Azul review, Matt Thrower writes, “Between its beautiful presentation, simplicity and depth there’s little doubt that Azul has earned its place as a modern classic. While the tinkering with its formula undertaken by its sequels has created more challenging games, none has captured the fine blend of accessibility and interactivity that makes it special.”

The Coolest Toy for Gamers
One deal you might have missed is this really awesome MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set. It’s normally $150 but there’s a 50% discount for Cyber Monday that drops it to only $74.99. The MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set is a buildable 3:4 scale replica of the Xbox 360 console with a brick count total of 1,342 pieces (5.5 cents per brick). The details in this build are, frankly, incredible, and include interactive elements, lighting effects, and the coolest accessories. This is such an interesting product that I wrote up a dedicated Cyber Monday article just for this deal.
Lots of interactive elements for a display-worthy set
This popular LEGO Creator set rarely goes on sale. For Cyber Monday, LEGO Shop is offering the NASA Space Shuttle Discovery 10283 for $159.99, or a savings of 20%. You’ll need to be a LEGO Insiders member, but it’s free to sign up. This impressive set consists of 2,354 bricks, which averages out to about 6.7 cents per brick, and measures 22″ long. As its namesake suggests, this is a replica of the Space Shuttle Discovery, with a center compartment that opens up and houses a separate Hubble telescope that can be deployed with a robot arm. Of course it also looks amazing as a display.
iFixit might be a familiar brand name for you from all of the helpful teardown videos of various electronics that’ve hosted on YouTube. Well, they also sell an extremely practical and high quality toolkit that helps you do the same. Amazon is offering the iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit for electronics, smartphones, gaming consoles, PCs and laptops, and tablets for only $59.96. It normally retails for $75 and we’ve only seen a price drop only once this year back in May. This is one of the very best tool kits you can buy for disassembling and repairing your electronics — including your Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck — without spending hundreds of dollars on a commercial kit.

Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy are all one-stop shopping sites, so it makes sense that their Cyber Monday sales extend beyond gaming and tech. Here are the best deals I’ve seen so far on small kitchen appliances, personal care products like hair dryers and toothbrushes, vacuum cleaners, and other convenient necessities that everyone – gamers included – might find useful. On a personal note, although air fryers are all the rage these days, I bought my Instant Pot pressure cooker over 10 years ago and I still use it weekly. My air fryer sits in the cabinet.
If you prefer to shop by retailer, we’ve written up Cyber Monday Deals roundups for each of the major retailers: Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and Gamestop. Check them out below:
In most instances, you can consider Cyber Monday as a one day extension of Black Friday. Traditionally, Black Friday was known as the “retail holiday,” where the best deals were found in-store, and Cyber Monday was known as the “online holiday,” where the best deals were online only. Although today the lines are very much blurred, it is still true that many online only retailers still consider Cyber Monday the sale event of the year instead of Black Friday. Expect some amazing sales to come out of online-only sites like Amazon, Newegg, Dell, HP, Lenovo and several online-only deals from traditional retailers like Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. In fact, Amazon has taken the preemptive and already switched over to Cyber Monday.

Looking for more video games to pick up ahead of the holidays? Thankfully, there are quite a few game deals still live as we get closer to Cyber Monday. One of our favorites that popped up during the seasonal sale event was on Sonic X Shadow Generations, which is currently $20 off its release price of $49.99 to $29.99 at Amazon for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
According to camelcamelcamel, this is the lowest price yet for Sonic X Shadow Generations. So, if you’ve had your eye on it, now’s a great time to scoop it up.
IGN’s Jada Griffin had high praise for this game in our Sonic X Shadow Generations review, giving it a score of 9/10. In it, she says that, “Sonic X Shadow Generations takes an already excellent game and spring jumps it to new heights at a blistering pace by doubling up the campaign length with creative level design, fantastic bosses, plenty of collectibles, and an appreciable graphical upgrade.”
For an overall look at the best deals that are still live across other retailers, check out our roundup of Black Friday 2024. A lot of these won’t stick around for much longer, so act fast to grab the deals that catch your eye.
Will the Deals Change for Cyber Monday?
Many of the same deals from Black Friday are likely to return for Cyber Monday 2024, including some that sold out or expired. Retailers often stagger their inventory, reserving stock for each major sale event. This means Cyber Monday will bring back popular deals alongside brand-new, never-before-seen offers.
Traditionally, Black Friday was the in-store shopping frenzy, while Cyber Monday focused on online deals. While those lines have blurred, Cyber Monday remains the top event for online-focused retailers like Amazon, Newegg, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. Even traditional retailers like Best Buy, Target, and Walmart roll out exclusive online-only offers. Amazon, in particular, has already shifted gears to highlight its Cyber Monday deals early, so expect some amazing sales ahead.

December is here! It has snuck up on us once again, hidden as it always is behind November’s back. It’s arrival heralds the beginning of the RPS Advent Calendar 2024, the yearly list of our favourite games of the year. Step inside, open the doors, and celebrate another year’s gaming survived.
There are still quite a few video game deals going strong as Cyber Monday inches closer. One of our absolute favorites from this year’s seasonal sale event is on Star Wars Outlaws, which has gotten a $30 price drop from its original $69.99 price tag to just $39.99.
This is the lowest price yet for the game, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel, and a deal that likely won’t stick around for long after Cyber Monday. So, if you’ve been wanting to spend your holidays immersed in the world of Star Wars, pick up this game for either PS5 or Xbox Series X.
Now’s a great time to pick this one up as well, following the massive Title Update 1.4.0. A blog post from Ubisoft detailing the patch notes stated that, “This Title Update brings changes to combat and stealth allowing for greater player choice, the ability to now keep pick-up weapons in more situations, visual options to allow for a sharper image and much more to improve your journey across the galaxy.” The full list of changes can be found in the blog post as well.
Our review of Star Wars Outlaws from IGN’s Tristan Ogilvie said that “As far as Star Wars video games go, we’ve taken countless turns at twirling lightsabers and unleashing flashy Force powers, but Star Wars Outlaws swaggers into the cantina, slinks down into a booth with its holster clip unbuttoned and argues that those are no match for a good blaster at your side.”

This year’s RPS Advent Calendar has arrived, and it’s time for us to fill the nook behind each door with 24 delightful game-shaped chocolates. But man, it’s hard work making these chocolates. Too much manual labour. I wish we could automate the process somehow – perhaps we just need to exploit the planet’s resources and turn it into a giant chocolate-making factory spanning the entire solar system. Yes, that should work.
Can you believe we’ve come to the end of yet another year? Yes, 2024’s almost over, so join us as we take a look at the games finishing off the Switch’s release schedule for the year – and those that will be waiting for us as we leap into 2025.
We’ve been busy rounding up our usual selection of games headed to retail over the next few weeks, including some highlights picked by us as well as lots of other games and accessories that are launching soon. Have a browse through and see if anything takes your fancy.
Lenovo just pushed out the best Xbox controller deal I’ve seen for both Cyber Monday and Black Friday. The Xbox wireless controller in Carbon Black, Robot White, or Electric Volt is on sale for $34.99. Shock Blue, Pulse Red, and Deep Pink are on sale for $39.99. For any of these options, make sure you apply coupon code “BFCMXBOX” in your shopping cart. These controllers are compatible with Xbox Series X and S consoles as well as your PC.
Xbox Controllers Starting at $34.99
Aesthetics aside, these Xbox wireless controllers are identical to the one that’s bundled with the Xbox Series X and S console. Standard features include textured grips, hybrid D-pad, button mapping with the Xbox app, a 3.5mm audio jack that works with any wired headset, and a Share button to upload screenshots and video.
The controller supports both Xbox wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. That means you can use it for your PC or mobile device. In fact, we think this is the the best PC controller you can get. If your PC doesn’t have Bluetooth, you can still use it in wired mode with a USB Type-C cable or go out and buy a Bluetooth or Xbox wireless adapter.
Want Something More Unique?
If you want a color scheme that’s sure to grab yours and other people’s attentions, check out the Ghost Cipher Limited Edition Xbox Series X|S wireless controller. It’s down to $45 with free shipping at Amazon and Target. The Ghost Cipher Edition is an absolutely gorgeous controller, with a translucent clear top case, rubberized ash gray grips, metallic bronze triggers and D-pad, and a solid white back. The interior components are colored silver to match the overall theme.
Will the Deals Change for Cyber Monday?
In my experience, many of the same deals we saw on Black Friday will return for Cyber Monday 2024, including deals that were sold out or expired. Retailers usually release their hottest selling items in batches so that every sale event has at least some inventory reserved. That said, I also expect plenty of new, never before seen deals. Traditionally, Black Friday was known as the “retail holiday,” where the best deals were found in-store, and Cyber Monday was known as the “online holiday,” where the best deals were online only. The Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed developers are still releasing new updates for the game and the second major one has now arrived.
This “second patch” for the game fixes some issues and also makes various improvements to the game. Most notably there is a fix tied to “extra content movies” not unlocking correctly. Here’s the full rundown via the official Steam game page:
Target Black Friday Sale is not over quite yet. Target is one of the most popular retailers for Black Friday, and this year, it came out the gate swinging with outstanding Black Friday deals on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 consoles, the Meta Quest 3S VR headset, the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer smart glasses. It’s also a great one-stop shop for holiday gift ideas like a new Apple iPad or a pair of AirPods, LEGOs, toys, and more. Fortunately, most of these deals are still available, and are likely to remain so through the weekend and possibly until Cyber Monday (which lands on December 2).
Target is one of my favorite shopping sites, both in-store and online. Its prices are very competitive, its return policy is generous, and it has plenty of retail locations so that buying online and picking up in-store is a convenient option. Target offers great exclusive discounts via its Target Circle membership, and best of all, joining is free. There is a paid upgrade that’s worth it for regular Target shoppers similar to Amazon Prime or Walmart+, and it’s on sale for Black Friday as well.
Compared to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the Nintendo Switch console has the best discount for Black Friday. The holiday bundles, which were released back in October, included your choice of the Switch or Switch OLED, a digital download voucher for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a 12-month Switch Online membership. I thought that this was going to be the official Black Friday deal. Alas, Target (but not Amazon, due to their supposedly shaky relationship) has just knocked another $75 off the price tag. That means you can pick up a Switch bundle for as low as $225.

Super Mario Odyssey deserves to be a staple game in everyone’s Switch library. It’s one of the few Mario games that is a completely Switch original instead of a remake. Despite the fact that it was launched way back in 2017, it’s still one of the best Switch games even today. In his 10/10 “Masterpiece” review, Ryan Mccaffrey wrote that “Super Mario Odyssey is a brilliant adventure and love letter to the series that made Nintendo a household name.”

Sony released their entire set of Black Friday PlayStation deals last week and most major retailers have followed suit. The best deal is definitely on the consoles themselves: the PS5 Slim Disc Edition has dropped to $424.99 (originally $500) and the PS5 Slim Digital Edition has dropped to $374.99 (originally $450). I would choose the Disc Edition because it’s only $50 more and then I have the option to buy (and later sell or trade) physical disc media. Target doesn’t carry the “Fortnite Cobalt Star” bundle but all that includes is a couple of Fortnite skins and in-game currency. If you want to save some money and go the Digital Edition route, I would suggest getting the NBA 2K25 bundle, which also includes a game.

Star Wars: Outlaws was released only 3 months ago, and it’s already 33% off for Black Friday. Maybe Ubisoft is trying to boost sales after lackluster sales at launch, but that means you get to enjoy a AAA title at a great discount. IGN’s Tristan Ogilvie gave it a 7/10 review, but I’ve beaten the game and I immensely enjoyed it and would give it at least an 8. It definitely has a “Assassin’s Creed game in a Star Wars skin” vibe, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Target isn’t the only retailer with games already on sale. For more deals on video games sorted by individual platform, check out our best Black Friday deal guides for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X.
One of the best Apple Black Friday deals has arrived and it’s better than I predicted. Target has dropped the price of the second-generation Apple AirPods Pro wireless noise-canceling earbuds to $153.99. This discount brings the price down to the same level as the Apple AirPods 4 with noise cancellation. Between the two, the AirPods Pro is still Apple’s best earbuds because it offers better sound quality and better noise cancellation performance.
At $299.99, the Meta Quest 3S was inarguably the best value out there in the world of VR gaming, but apparently that’s not good enough to be considered a Black Friday deal. So, Target has decided to include a nice bonus: Target shoppers get a bonus $75 Target gift card. The Quest 3S also comes bundled with the Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game.
What really sets this deal above all other VR deals (like the PlayStation VR2) is that the Meta Quest 3S can be played completely untethered. That means you can play games like Beat Saber or Pistol Whip without having to own a powerful gaming PC or a PlayStation 5 console. Try to find another standalone VR headset at this price and you’ll come up empty.
Available in several different sizes and lenses options
There’s a very intriguing – if a bit controversial – deal going on that you might want to check out for yourself. Amazon is offering a 20% discount off the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses, with prices starting at $239.20. That’s the same deal you’ll find at other retailers, however Target is throwing in a $90 Target gift card. You can even livestream 30 second videos.
After years of ownership, I still love my Instant Pot pressure cooker.
Since Target is a one-stop shopping site, it makes sense that their Black Friday Sale extends beyond gaming and tech. Here are the best deals I’ve seen so far on small appliances, personal care products like hair dryers and toothbrushes, vacuum cleaners, and other convenient necessities that everyone – gamers included – might find useful. Although air fryers are all the rage these days, I bought my Instant Pot pressure cooker over ten years ago and still use it weekly.
One deal you might have missed is this really awesome MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set. It’s normally $150 but there’s a 50% discount for Black Friday that drops it to only $74.99. This is such an interesting product that I wrote up a dedicated Black Friday article just for this deal.
The least expensive 75″ TV
This is easily the best TV deal in Target’s ad scan, which is why it’s on their front page. Target will drop the price on this Westinghouse TV from $499.99 to $399.99, making it one of the least expensive 75″ TVs we’ll see for Black Friday. Aside from the absolutely gigantic screen size, a native 4K resolution, and 60Hz refresh rate, this TV also features the Roku smart interface. I personally prefer Roku over Fire TV or Google TV because it’s more intuitive to use.
The least expensive 65″ TV
Need an inexpensive TV that gets the job done? Look no further than this Hisense A6 Xumo TV. This is currently the least expensive 65″ TV deal for Black Friday and has a good chance of staying that way. At this price you’re getting a pretty barebones TV, but it has all the important essentials, like a generous 65″ TV screen size with a native 4K resolution panel, built-in speakers, and an integrated Xumo TV smart interface. If you would rather use a smart interface that’s more familliar to you, you can pick up a Fire TV Stick 4K for $21.99 or a Roku Ultra LT for $34.
You can pick up a copy of Azul for only $20 for Black Friday. Many board games are about mystery or war, but Azul is totally different. Players in Azul compete to design the most beautiful tiled mosaics they can. In our Azul review, Matt Thrower writes “Between its beautiful presentation, simplicity and depth there’s little doubt that Azul has earned its place as a modern classic. While the tinkering with its formula undertaken by its sequels has created more challenging games, none has captured the fine blend of accessibility and interactivity that makes it special.”
More Black Friday Board Game Deals
LEGOs are one of the best gift ideas for the holidays, so LEGO deals get snapped up pretty quickly during Black Friday. Target is advertising select sets for up to 40% off. We’ve added all of the ones that are shown in the ad scan that have been discounted, but expect to see even more sets on sale in the coming days. The best deal right now – a LEGO City Space Science Lab for only $19.99 (originally $35) – would make a great gift for kids. At an average cost of a mere 3.5 cents per brick, this deal is a phenomenal value.

The least expensive gaming PC handheld
Target has dropped the price of the Asus ROG Ally Z1 gaming handheld PC to only $349.99 after a $150 discount. This is currently the least expensive cost of entry to the world of gaming handheld PCs. The ROG Ally runs off Windows 11. The benefit compared to the Steam Deck, which runs off SteamOS, is that the ROG Ally is compatible with pretty much any Windows-based game client, including Steam, Battle.net, Xbox Games Pass, Epic Games Store, GOG, Ubisoft Connect, and more. That makes it more attractive to gamers who like to play games that aren’t available on Steam.
Target Circle 360 exclusive
Target Circle 360 exclusive
Who doesn’t love a good ol’ freebie for Black Friday? Target is offering a free pair of fuzzy wuzzy Target Adult Bullseye Slippers for Target Circle 360 members. These slippers normally cost $15, so if you sign up for the membership at the promotional price of $50, you’re already a third of the way towards getting your money’s worth!
Everyone’s eligible for this deal
You don’t need to be a Target Circle 360 member to get this freebie. Target is offering a single pack of the Air Wick Scented Oil Air Freshener, with warmer included, for free after you clip the $4 off Target Circle coupon. Supposedly it lasts for 60 days, and you can easily top it off with Air Wick refills. I much prefer this over scented candles because it doesn’t leave soot residue everywhere.
Most items are eligible
Starting now, Target Circle members will be able to buy two books, movies, or music and get a third free. Some examples include the kids’ favorites Percy Jackson or Dog Man book series, the recently released Inside Out 2 on Blu-ray or 4K Ultra HD, or vinyl from superstars like Sabrina Carpenter or Taylor Swift. I’m personally hoping to fill out my Lord of the Rings library collection for this round of Black Friday.
Who says Thanksgiving get-togethers have to be expensive?
Target is offering enough food to provide for a Thanksgiving meal for four for under $20. The list includes a 10lb turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy, cream of mushroom soup, and green beans. This deal is already live.
Similar to Amazon Prime or Walmart+
Like Amazon and Walmart, Target has its own paid membership that offers great perks in addition to the great deals you are entitled to as a Target Circle member. The Target Circle 360 membership normally costs $100 per year, but the price drops to $50 for Black Friday. Exclusive perks include free two-day shipping with no minimum, free same-day delivery on orders over $35, delivery to other addresses, and an additional 30 days added to your return window.
lack Friday is like a bonus holiday for Pokémon TCG fans. We’re talking about deck building, chasing rare cards, or just stockpiling boosters for a rainy day. This year’s Black Friday deals are stacked with good finds. From big boxes packed with collectibles to pre-built decks ready for action, we’ve combed through the Electro-Web (thank you) to highlight the best ones. Let’s get into it!
Although today the lines have blurred, it is still true that many online only retailers still consider Cyber Monday the sale event of the year instead of Black Friday.
